Great work! We had a central locking issue on one of our Hyundai i20 hatchback sales cars. Couldn't work it out. Thanks to this video we found the boot (trunk) interior light blew the 10amp fuse in that plastic yellow cage. Was causing all sorts of electrical issues with the dash not illuminating, central locking not working, seatbelt warning tone when driving. Changed this 10amp fuse and all sorted!
Thank you, your diagnostic process helped me identify the control system had crashed on my Hyundai Santa Fe, therefore was able to reboot the unit by unplugging the battery - Everything came back working!. I had issues with both auto shifter stuck in park plus central locking not working. Definitely saved me a few hundred pounds in Garage fees. Thanks Again! Keep up the Videos!!!
Thanks for taking the time to upload this video,I had a problem with the ABS light plugged in the scanner diagnosed it to be the abs sensor o/s front erased the code drove the van and light straight back on, plugged in the scanner to confirm the problem and no power at the obd port, central locking, interior light and clock now not working?
Come across this video and the same 10 amp fuse had blown, no idea why as it had successfully scanned the van earlier ,put in a new fuse and all good just need to do abs sensor and all should be well
WAS EXACT PROBLEM WUTH MY HYUNDAI I20 2010. THANKS VERY HELPFUL...I MIGHT HAVE BEEN PAYING COUPLE OF HUNDREDS TO MECHANIC
You're welcome!
opel Astra G also has the dome light fuse for the obd2 power fuse together.
The yellow plastic fuse holder is designed to be used for long term storage - you pull the plastic body half way and it disconnects the F33 and F44 fuses to eliminate battery drain
thanks mate that's real helpful
Good job figuring it out
Happened to me once before with i40 smart key. Customer have never been able to use the central locking since purchasing the car from the previous owner. The double fuse seems to be a switch for turning on or off the central locking according to the owners manual. It’s in the owners manual.
same prblm with me what to do pls help.
Thankyou soo much. My exact problem
Good info! Would have a car circuit tester been easier to test?
So thanks good i have fount this video, i am having the same issue with my Hyundai Getz 204. The lock is not working with the key, my head lamps wont work and my audio wont work eother, however i did already found that the Power Conn fuse ( the one in the yellow extra cover) was dead, i did replaced it and after looking nothing happend, then I check the same fuse again and it was cooked again... would there be another issue that could be the reason for the damage?
Very GoodInfomation.
Thanks mate
Love it ! i though it was something catastrophic.

Hi, I've got same issue with central locking not working, no interior lights and no time display on my Hyundai i45 2012 Model. I tried to put a new 10A fuse on the interior light section on the fuse box without IGN ON, it blows straight away. What could be the issue in my case?
A short in one of the lines, you will need to check each line connected to that fuse
shire among the locksmiths family's around the world not too propel that need our service
Hey mate, I’ve replaced the fuse as it was faulty. Now the fuse keeps popping and I keep replacing. What do I need to check and what keeps taking it out? Thanks
You need a wiring diagram to trace what is on the line, then check one by one to see which one is shorting
sorry to say i have been in the locksmithing for 32years i cont get how we can give our game a way
That's weird that the cable caused a short.
First time I plugged in with sbb tool I blew a fuse
