Here's a fast story about how smart Horses are. I had Open Heart Surgery. When I returned home and went out to the field some weeks later both of my horses came to greet me. Then BOTH sniffed my chest. Now my shirt was not open so they could not see anything. Then they moved around me, with one on each side of me they would not leave my sides as I walked around the field. I called to my wife to watch this happen as I walked around. One on my left and one on my right. They just would not leave my sides. Not walking in back of me you understand, right along side of me - one on each side of me, as if to guard me. This is the absolute truth. I was stunned by this. How did they know. And they must love me very much to protect me like that.
The horse is obviously on the smaller side but he seems to move and carry her effortlessly. Some people actually have preferences for horses that are less tall/stout/hands, etc. Also, the young lady appears to still be essentially a girl (teenager) who's likely been with and grown up - with her horse. So she likely sprouted up & grew up to be a very tall young lady since acquiring her horse. I'm sure spending that much time under her (literally).. direction, her horse has become accustomed to her size.
Seriously, people? The pony is not too small for her. Yes, generally it would be better and easier for someone of this size to ride a larger horse, but it looks like she is a skilled rider and physically this pony has no trouble carrying her. I occasionally ride a well-muscled pony that is just about this size, and she has no trouble carrying me, either. She used to be a pack pony, and is ridiculously strong. By the way, this pony is absolutely gorgeous. :)
Femina Proletarius If you knew anything about horses you will see this pony is mature and after watching this video, I don't think you should criticise the owner / trainer. She obviously knows what she's doing!
Femina Proletarius This horse is a adult horse There is nothing too big or small when it comes to love between a human and a horse You definitely can see and feel the loving bond between both of them
What a beautiful healthy strong horse! Someone has taken very good care of this horse and it shows. Wonderful what this girl has done with him. He is more than willing to please her because of her training skills. Bravo!
This kind of relationship takes LOTS of time, patience, treats of course and most of all love and trust. I remember my first horse I never went a day without spending hours with him.Not always riding, but brushing, talking, and just being with him. I miss my horses
The outrageously negative comment about the beautiful horse video is hardly worth a response. Yet I guess I still felt a need to defend and to respond and spend my precious time and precious energies. (and believe it or not, there may be a secret thing inside of me (with strong therapeutic tendencies) to be real and maybe the person this response is about may possibly be given pause or may get something good from it- at least a seed... For me, I would rather have my feelings hurt in a respectful way and better myself than for someone to not tell me something directly so I can't even know about it to maybe change it and better myself or help myself or save myself...) My comments could be applied to anything about anything in any situation. Why in the world would a person come to a site with such sourness, negativity, disrespect and toxicity? Some people's joy can be "knocking" others I suppose. Why would someone watch a video of something that they so openly disdain? Why come here? It is absurd. To me, since I most often see things in a psychotherapeutic way, it is a transparent thing, a thing showing a lack from within. I always feel that unceremoniously knocking things is perhaps because people can be jealous of something such as love, sadly, because maybe they are lacking that in their life, so they knock it. People often try to throw mud upon something of beauty or something they don't have, or something they may secretly envy, or secretly want. Even secretly to themselves. Sometimes people are "acting out" to coin a therapeutic phrase, "acting out" feelings buried and hidden, derived from pain or whatever. Sometimes people are indiscriminately casting out dirty stones onto others from something of their buried experiences or being that they may not even be aware of. It's like school yard stuff! Petty. Undimensional. Almost like sticking out your tongue at somebody so that the other person might say, "sticks and stones may break my bones but..."! (and it can be an impetus for bullying but that's another matter). It's like belittle belittle belittle is the name of the game. It might temporarily make someone feel good. People can just act out these negative behaviors via poisonous or disparaging words. There are respectful ways to disagree or give an opinion. Even when it's an undiluted opinion, or critical, there is a way of being not destructive but constructive about it. Oprah Winfrey always says, "Don't put others down to feel important, or to feel better about yourself. Get self-esteem through good and productive things. By elevating yourself." Oprah Winfrey says these things which have piercing truth but done in plain and simple caring. Putting down others isn't good. It would be so much better if such persons would go elsewhere to spread these unique brands of toxicity and judgment...With all due respect having a pseudonym "hopeissarcastic" as if the characteristic of sarcastic as displayed in the ugly comment is something to be proud of. What an odd concept and juxtaposition of words. I may have thought it was some kind of subtle humor if the comment of this person had not been so poor, so rude. (as an aside: But with people like the female coach on Glee bringing ugly words and sarcasm to the fore, to a new level, a new nastiness, as if it's the newest humour discovery, this presented as the most wonderous and high form of humour...people start to believe that this is true funnyness. I don't think it is...but that's another matter!) The world needs respectful words and actions, whether you agree with something or not. And again, why seek some "damn horse videos" if someone disdains them! I think it is more of a reflection of the person than anything else. Horses are sacrosanct to many. One should be deeply careful in what one says about things that are sacred to others. As the wonderful recoverists and sage persons, Wayne Dyer (Erroneous Zones) and John Bradshaw (PBS Homecoming series of long ago) might say: "if you can't offer something fruitful, or thoughtful, or pleasant, or constructive, or caring, or loving, or discerning, or helpful, or thought-provoking, or insightful, or considerate, or enlightening, go elsewhere, please!" I think my response here is also the pent up feelings I have had for a long time to all of the many, many persons I have read on the sites who just have the most rude and uncaring responses to people, as if it is okay. It isn't. Manners count. Whether you are anonymous or not. Many of us like domains of quiet respect amongst each other and sharing what we love... respectfully putting out opinions or various viewpoints. It is about the harmonies our sharing something together produces... what the wonderful internet can offer us: a sort of true, amongst so-called strangers closeness...it can be so wonderful...a whole world open to us that we would have not been able to have seen before...a glimpse into others' beautiful realties, sacredly feeling something as we sit just with ourselves feeling what we will, quietly watching the wonder of the computer screen and deriving so greatly much from it... ***
Brenda Anne Du Faur The video is hilarious, every single video posted with horses involves manipulation of an animal to seem as if they're one and doing something powerful. Horse lovers anthropromorphize their animals more than any other animal owner, it's genuinely hilarious. These people are taking horses, penning them and forcing them into servitude, that isn't a bond, it's slavery. You want me to be offensive? You need to seek professional help with your inability to cope with criticism. That's far more offensive than LOL, HORSE VIDEOS ARE FUCKIN FUNNY!
I had a horse I had this kind of relationship with for 24 years. We did everything together and I miss him terribly now that he's gone. She's done a wonderful job with him. You can tell he trusts her absolutely and she trusts him. Years of work have gone into this relationship. And years of joy. Brought tears to my eyes. :)
What a treat to watch you two. Once, when riding my mare bareback on a summer day, we went into a shallow stream and she splashed water all over her belly, like usual. Walking home some people passed us and let me know how much they disapproved of my riding her into a sweat! We had never broken a trot that day. What people do not understand, they sometimes erroneously misjudge.
it's not about the heigt he can carry, it's about the weight. of course it's a little bit difficult to ride when her feet touch the ground but it isn't uncomfortable for the pony if she's not too heavy for her.
and loves him with all her heart..there are far worse things happening in the horse world now Than a girl that is to big for her pony, who clearly is fine with it...
I don´t think one just gets "something bigger" if he truly loves his horse. I will never understand people who sell their horses because they had grown too big for their pony.
i hope one day when i get my first horse, me and my horse have this kind of bind. This was so beautiful. U are blessed to have such a great horse and u are so inspriational!!!! i want to be just like this when im older!
Ahhhh, love it... those who have not been close to a horse, large dog... have missed so much. Such a bond cannot be found in other animals... close, but I have never seen quite the strong bond... what a blessing! A'Ho!
I am speechless......Your bond and love can be interpreted by ways we have experienced OUR happiest moments, but the bond between you and this horse, only YOU and the HORSE can comprehend this love. Because you are feeling it together. Together, you are like one.
@Brenda Anne Du Faur: I totally agree. I've grown up with horses, and have trained them for just shy of 10 years now. I agree with your concerns on the horses' body and also don't like the flailing of the whip to get him/her to do the tricks. Horses are fleet animals and shy at so much- and to me- that's causing chaos, resulting the horse to "perform". I break horses, and work with head cases (lol)maybe I'm wrong- but horses react to very little, and I find the whip flailing a little excessive
You are amazingly talented and gifted w/ horses. My baby used to let me lay on him too! This brought back some touching memories. Also when I was young I had my best friend, Skadjet, allow me to do some of the same things, however I wasn't as experienced at training back than, or possibly ever! You will have memories to last a life time w/ your bestest of friend, your horse. Isn't the love such a gift we've been given to share w/ such a majestic creature. You and your horse are fabtabulous!!
My last horse was an Icelandic stallion...he was only 12 hands and could easily carry a 250-pound man all day, as they commonly do in the harsh terrain of Iceland. Snow ponies (they are not ponies) mature very late and their bones are exceptionally dense. Size is not the issue, structure, innate abilities and so many other factors play into matching a horse to a rider.
This is really an amazing video. It really touched me. I had a horse once, and we had a really, REALLY close bond too. Then from day to day, I got allergic to horses, plus I got really bad back problems. I cried like hell, and I still do sometimes. I can never ride again - so seeing something like this really makes me happy ( and a little sad cause I miss my Prince :'l ) I really wish you two the best of the best!
The song and video actually made me want to cry, that girl has such a strong bond with that horse, it loves her to pieces and her to her horse. Its such a moving piece :')
This is what I want, I've been riding for years, still haven't acquired a horse, I want a friend like this that will trust and can do really cool tricks and keep his rider safe. Brilliant simply brilliant :')
*rain outta room* connection with animals and horses alike, keep up the great work do what you love and never let anyone get you down. you have the heart and soul of a champion, I bow My hate to do in your grace and beauty; and will look forward to any other videos you make.
I have to say this video brought tears to my eyes when I realized the trust God's great animal has in you. And I thought to myself, I hope you lie in bed at night and understand how fortunate you are to have been chosen in this enormous world, to sustain that very important relationship and how truly blessed you are.
if you trained that horse you two are amazing you make a beautiful pare, I am complete jelous of your grace, and connection with your boy. He is an amazingly beautiful creature and you did amazing with his training. You also made an amazing video and I cant people the connection you have with that animal it is clear that he trust you with all his heart and soul. I congratulate you On everything you had and have archived with him and will archive you are an amazing person and you have an amazing
I had a bond like this with a horse once... He and I would do everything, he was only 2 and my first training project. He knew what I was thinking and wanted to do things with me. Wasn't afraid of anything, would go anywhere. I was only privileged enough to be with him for only 8 very short months until I had to turn him over to god because of Lymes disease that wasn't responding to any treatment, he couldn't stand anymore but he fought for me and I fought for him for days. I miss him very much
Amazing! their bond is very strong. Very smart horse, and quite a mover trotting on the beach under-saddle. I had a Spanish Arabian stallion that I could ride without a halter also and I could get him to rear on command... but this horse is exceptional. Bravo!
Here's a fast story about how smart Horses are. I had Open Heart Surgery. When I returned home and went out to the field some weeks later both of my horses came to greet me. Robert Taggett Very cool story, I absolutely believe you are right about your horses' actions in relation to you!
Robert Taggett thats so cute!
Robert Taggett thats so amazing and cute❤️❤️😍😍👌🏻👌🏻
❤️
I got goosebumps.. amazing horses you got..😍
This video i found was really emotional! it just shows the depth and bond between such an amazing horse and rider xox
I agree to 100% of that lol

If only ALL horses could have a life like this. VERY impressed!

Woohh beautiful to see the band between those two 😍😍
omg Naruto music! I was not expecting that xD
Same 😅
Henke & Spons relationship in awe inspiring!!!!! WOW!! kindness, love and training should always go hand in hand! Stunning video, not too be missed!
Proof that LOVE IS PATIENT. GOOD FOR THE SOUL... My FIRST & EVERLASTING LOVE...HORSES
I had a stallion like this, he lived 28 years and I am lost without him. Congratulations on your work with this horse.
oh the naruto theme song is very fitting in this video!
This kind of relationship takes LOTS of time, patience, treats of course and most of all love and trust. I remember my first horse I never went a day without spending hours with him.Not always riding, but brushing, talking, and just being with him. I miss my horses
Horse lovers are funny as shit, they always have slow mos and epic war music for their damn horse videos.
Better than a slideshow of cars.
Whatever a chifte is.
So, you're telling me that you'd rather watch a slideshow of cars than watch a real relationship between human and animal?

such a beautiful horse and so amazing to see a bond between horse and rider like this
Are they ponies? The horses in some of your videos are small. Just wondering.
Lovely. You and your horse are just amazing. Thank you for the love you give....
I LOVE HORSES SO MUCH DO YOU?
Keith Brown YAAAAAAAASSS GIRL
This is a beautiful video, you and your horse have such an amazing bond, you both love and trust each other so much, this was so amazing to watch
That girl is too big for that pony it seems. Not to mention, it seemed pretty mad around 1:15.
+Kalli Beautyx Can't deny the two-way love bond tho. Probably outgrew her first pony.
i argee whit you
Kalli Beautyxqq
Why do you think so?

Lol me too!!!!! I am leasing-to-buy my lesson horse Emmy! First I have to train to volunteer, then volunteer, then.... BOOM!!!! I'm happy for you!
bella eaglemountin too x)
That is exactly what I would have said. Riding a horse is such a small percentage of the experience of living with a horse.
Watched it a million and one times, i cry every time, very touching and just lovely!
O_O Sounds like Naruto music.
i noticed that too haha
stargazer2254 it is :P
Julia Hollström thats awesome.

If the girl gets any taller her feet will touch the ground.
She will be able to carry the horse around between her legs.
Yup
Looks like the horse can carry her just fine.

you can see that the pony can carry her just fine! she might be a little bit too long, but her weight does`t seem to bother him:-)
My heart....my heart to as one. I feel the this bond through the video. I'm so proud of you young lady.
Should have spent my money on horses instead of kids....love!!!!!!!them! Horses, I mean. Kids I can do without....
That was mean
Lol i agree Juliet
well then why don't you give them up to someone that will actually love them and get all the horses you want??
Juliet McGrath You can apreciate the lack of wisdom in the comments below...Try getting the kids into horses and you can enjoy them both. Namaste
This is the sweetest thing I have seen! You can really tell there is a Very Trusting & Special Bond there!
she's to big for the pony
and loves him with all her heart..there are far worse things happening in the horse world now Than a girl that is to big for her pony, who clearly is fine with it...
AlwaysHorseLove yeah i know. i wasn't saying it in a bad way but she should get something a bit bigger. they are lovely though

Aaaaamazingggg!!!!! Beautiful, both of you. Thank you for sharing.

Yes this amazing... so cute you know your stuff... such a gorgeous horse!!!! another favourite video of mine!
the horse is so cute! I love how they cantered/galloped bareback with no bridle! That really shows a good bond. :)
You are amazingly talented and gifted w/ horses. My baby used to let me lay on him too! This brought back some touching memories. I really wish you two the best of the best!
Unbelievable the bond you have with your horse, it's really nice to see
I'm crying, this is just so beautiful. It's like I'm watching my dreams or something, just so perfect
That gives me chills!! I love how you and your horse communicate!
I don't have words for it! It's so beautifull!!!
You... could... make a movie out of this! I mean, the emotion! And that is a beautiful horse. :)
I love seeing two different kinds of creatures bond so well.
This made my day. I used to have a horse. Loved and trusted him with all I had.
The song and video actually made me want to cry, that girl has such a strong bond with that horse, it loves her to pieces and her to her horse. Its such a moving piece :')
You bond with your horse amazingly! The horse must trust you a lot!
Wow, how beautiful. You are one with the horse. God Bless you both!
How can ppl dislike this? It's amazing! I'm still building up the relationship between my horse & I!
This is what I want, I've been riding for years, still haven't acquired a horse, I want a friend like this that will trust and can do really cool tricks and keep his rider safe. Brilliant simply brilliant :')
your an amazing young trainer!!! this horse must really love you and obviously you feel the same way about him!!!
Beautiful partnership, just blown away with this video, that relationship is special.
the bond that u and your horse have is amazing!
Think its illegal to have that much love and fun with a horse! Thank you for sharing that with us :)
I am in LOVE with this video! Can't stop watching it!!! Make another pleasee!!!! :-)
juste un mot magique la relation avec ton cheval est trop belle continue a faire des videos les instant que l'on vit a travers ses videos sont genial
This was extremely beautiful to watch! I wish my horses could do tricks like that!
Many people say that people are to big for horses. But the on thing that is important is the bond beetween horse and rider!!
This video is fantastic !
That is great! Always love horses and they will always love you!

Wow! Amzing bond he/she obviously loves u and you obvioulsly love him/her !

What a pair, that was amazing! Not many riders get that bond with their horses ;)
Amazing! their bond is very strong. Very smart horse, and quite a mover trotting on the beach under-saddle. I had a Spanish Arabian stallion that I could ride without a halter also and I could get him to rear on command... but this horse is exceptional. Bravo!
This is so beautiful! :)
There's something so sweet about watching this :) it's like you're both learning together...
