I had this long conversation with God one night, I asked Him to forgive me, but I told Him how tough it is being separated from Him through our whole lives having to rely on faith alone. I asked if He is for real. I asked Him, "Who are you"? What is your Name? Do you really exist? and to please let me know, "Are you really there?" I decided to go find this bible I knew my mother had downstairs. I decided to just open it up to a random page, and start reading wherever my eyes landed. Honestly, this is what happened, and I will never ever forget it. The first two words my eyes focused on was, "I am". He had answered my prayers and it was a powerfully spiritual experience for me. God is like a father, the more you call your father, the more he will appreciate you calling him, the more you talk to your father, the more he will talk to you, therefore, the more you interact in His life, the more he will interact in yours. I am speaking from experience. Yes, God is everywhere and in everything, but you will find a more abundance of Him in the least negative places. Being away from the busy city, from the road rage and the hussle and bussle of stress is where i found my church (my place in which I feel closest to God). And, thats out in nature, when I was with my horses, with my animals. No one but me and God, and He reminds me through the comfort of even the smallest of things that He is real. We just have to look, pay attention, talk to Him. I noticed the wind blowing through my horses hair as we would ride, reminding me, this is a special moment. The wind, for example, it's something we cannot see, but yet it is there. So let it be an example to all men. Although, invisible to our eyes, we can still feel its touch. It is reality. So, what is His name, does He exist, is He really there, and who is He? He is.. "I am". "Never pass by the opportunity to stop and see or share something beautiful in this one life, we have been blessed to live. God has created the beauty of this world as a reflection of His love. God is good! Every time before I ride I pray,when I started riding my British welsh cob pony jane she could not go over a ground pole since she was alone in a pasture not ridden for 3 years now she can canter and go over 3 feet jumps your story is breathtaking I teared up when I heard it.
I have got to a point in my life where I want everyday to be a good one, but everything always falls apart. I'm so lost and I love my horse but I don't have the money to keep him anymore. I'm scared of failure and I'm scared of losing the people I love. I'm not sure if I should be on my own for a while, or if I should keep trying at something I know isn't working right now. I have only a few months until I graduate and I'm not sure where to go with my life or what I want. I need help and support. I don't think this is the best place to be putting all this but I'm hoping after seeing this, someone can help me.
Hi...I'm trying to hear this video ...and I start to read your post at the same time...whilst doing this I heard the girl saying something about speaking your mind or something.....now she is saying about how broke she is ...blah ablah..... So I watched it all....and her life I relate to....and as I get older and wiser....I am still struggling..but surviving....and that's ok.....I have no horses...oh god I wish i did....but I have a family...much the same but they speak...and I still kick....I know one day I will have another horse...whether it be in my mind when i close my eyes and smell the air and feel the sun or wind on my face...I am there...in a split second...that's what I use to get me through...I can only tell you about me.....because like Alycia's story...see seeked the church and the people who accepted her...I know I can walk into any where and be accepted... and if i'm not that's ok...But I am curious...I seek the news paper to see if there is something interesting in there...look...look...through doing this...I have experienced so many things and people....I got lost and i thought god might be in a church.....But everything is a bout choice...if you make a decision stick with it...be strong..But...In my terms...HE/SHE/// whoever god maybe..is everywhere....Just ask yourself ...your higher self...while seeking something to do...will this be good for me where will it take me..and you won't know....but just do it.....am I helping someone else or am I helping myself to survive....any way I waffled on....and sometimes we all feel like hope is all lost...but it's not if you are living...:) have a great day tomorrow and the next....ect
Failure is an event, it's not a permanent state of being. Nobody goes through life without failing at something, the trick is to learn from it and move on, not to dwell in the thing you failed at. Maybe after you've learnt from it, you can go back and succeed at what you failed at. If the people you love, love you without conditions, then you won't lose them. If they do turn from you, then they are not worth having in your life. Sit down and work out what your priorities are, list them and be realistic with yourself. Have a plan for your future, if you don't have a goal, then how do you know which path is the right one? Once you know what your goal in life is, work out which path will get you there. Right now, graduation should be your short term goal. So what should you do to achieve this? Then after you graduate, what would you like to achieve? Work towards that then. Where would you like to be in 5 years time? Work towards it. How about ten years time? Where ever you want to be in life, there are ways to achieve it. You need to find the avenues that will get you there and pursue them. Hope this helps in some way!
Every day is never going to be a good one. save money on crap like flash phone/computer and try to keep horse as long as you can. On relationships have fun while you are young in someone is giving you grief or you don't really love them kick them (gently) to the curb. Stick with your horse though if you can as that depends on you. Concentrate on graduating, later you will forget about other worries now but you won't forget if you stuff up your degree
Follow your heart. What does it tell you? To stop for now and try again later? To keep at it? Maybe you just need to step back from the situation Anjounet, and look at it with fresh eyes from a different angle. There is nothing you can do to prevent loss; life and death, love and loss these are all part of a full life. The secret is finding your own way to cope with the negative and dark times because they will happen. I have been through a lot in my life and I promise you the times of uncertainty and confusion don't last forever. They will pass.
Use everyday as a lesson Anjounet. Don't set your goals miles away, but just a few steps. And with every step, you'll notice that you'll achieve your goal. If life was easy, people would throw it away much more easier. But know, that when you fight for something you love... You will get much more pleasure for it. God is good! Every time before I ride I pray,when I started riding my British welsh cob pony jane she could not go over a ground pole since she was alone in a pasture not ridden for 3 years now she can canter and go over 3 feet jumps your story is breathtaking I teared up when I heard it.
I have got to a point in my life where I want everyday to be a good one, but everything always falls apart. I'm so lost and I love my horse but I don't have the money to keep him anymore. I'm scared of failure and I'm scared of losing the people I love. I'm not sure if I should be on my own for a while, or if I should keep trying at something I know isn't working right now. I have only a few months until I graduate and I'm not sure where to go with my life or what I want. I need help and support. I don't think this is the best place to be putting all this but I'm hoping after seeing this, someone can help me.
Hi...I'm trying to hear this video ...and I start to read your post at the same time...whilst doing this I heard the girl saying something about speaking your mind or something.....now she is saying about how broke she is ...blah ablah..... So I watched it all....and her life I relate to....and as I get older and wiser....I am still struggling..but surviving....and that's ok.....I have no horses...oh god I wish i did....but I have a family...much the same but they speak...and I still kick....I know one day I will have another horse...whether it be in my mind when i close my eyes and smell the air and feel the sun or wind on my face...I am there...in a split second...that's what I use to get me through...I can only tell you about me.....because like Alycia's story...see seeked the church and the people who accepted her...I know I can walk into any where and be accepted... and if i'm not that's ok...But I am curious...I seek the news paper to see if there is something interesting in there...look...look...through doing this...I have experienced so many things and people....I got lost and i thought god might be in a church.....But everything is a bout choice...if you make a decision stick with it...be strong..But...In my terms...HE/SHE/// whoever god maybe..is everywhere....Just ask yourself ...your higher self...while seeking something to do...will this be good for me where will it take me..and you won't know....but just do it.....am I helping someone else or am I helping myself to survive....any way I waffled on....and sometimes we all feel like hope is all lost...but it's not if you are living...:) have a great day tomorrow and the next....ect
Failure is an event, it's not a permanent state of being.
Nobody goes through life without failing at something, the trick is to learn from it and move on, not to dwell in the thing you failed at.
Maybe after you've learnt from it, you can go back and succeed at what you failed at.
If the people you love, love you without conditions, then you won't lose them. If they do turn from you, then they are not worth having in your life.
Sit down and work out what your priorities are, list them and be realistic with yourself.
Have a plan for your future, if you don't have a goal, then how do you know which path is the right one?
Once you know what your goal in life is, work out which path will get you there.
Right now, graduation should be your short term goal.
So what should you do to achieve this?
Then after you graduate, what would you like to achieve?
Work towards that then.
Where would you like to be in 5 years time?
Work towards it.
How about ten years time?
Where ever you want to be in life, there are ways to achieve it.
You need to find the avenues that will get you there and pursue them.

Every day is never going to be a good one. save money on crap like flash phone/computer and try to keep horse as long as you can. On relationships have fun while you are young in someone is giving you grief or you don't really love them kick them (gently) to the curb. Stick with your horse though if you can as that depends on you. Concentrate on graduating, later you will forget about other worries now but you won't forget if you stuff up your degree
Follow your heart. What does it tell you? To stop for now and try again later? To keep at it? Maybe you just need to step back from the situation Anjounet, and look at it with fresh eyes from a different angle. There is nothing you can do to prevent loss; life and death, love and loss these are all part of a full life. The secret is finding your own way to cope with the negative and dark times because they will happen. I have been through a lot in my life and I promise you the times of uncertainty and confusion don't last forever. They will pass.
Use everyday as a lesson Anjounet. Don't set your goals miles away, but just a few steps. And with every step, you'll notice that you'll achieve your goal. If life was easy, people would throw it away much more easier. But know, that when you fight for something you love... You will get much more pleasure for it.
