Jack's passing really affected me, and I didnt expect that. I'm Irish, and I admired jack charlton from young. God rest his soul. A wonderful man, and a legendary servant to football, to England and to Ireland.
I'm 57 and Jack Charlton was my school boy hero. I remember every member of his team from when I was less than 10 year old. I remember him taking Middlesbrough to the top of the old div 1 when in them days it seemed like an impossibility. Inspirational legend
What has his brother got to do with this??? His brother is respected and loved equally just like Jack. Bobby is a very humble person. Watch some of his interviews and you will know the true Bobby instead of looking at what the media tell you.
Ireland will always love Big Jack ☘️

funny how the British coverage of Jack's career never mentions '88...
Because he was part of Sir Alf immortals, what he did with Ireland was a great for you, but for us he’ll always be immortal for 66.
