Junior is one of the most underrated guitar aficionados of all time and perhaps my favorite country musician
Junior Brown belongs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
No, they should build a small monument to him in his hometown. R&R HOF is a corporate joke set up to make money, not music.
My lady and I saw him in in Eureka Springs earlier this year...he opened for Steve Earle....should have been the other way around......Junior was amazing and fun....and his wife was sooo good on guitar and vocals! I want to see them again!
And the country hall of fame, but these folks in town have a stick up their collective asses.

I've been to one of the biggest country music festivals around 30 times. Every top act has played. Junior was one of my all time favorites.

Instrumental surf is this odd little micro genre that the vast majority of folks I run across just don't get. I can't see any of those "non-getters" listening to something like this and not having a fantastic time. I hope this guy lives to be 100 years old playing music like this!
I get it!!!! I love instrumental surf guitar music the original era of Surf was about 1960 through about 62 and it influenced many young guy's to start playing guitar.It of course was a major influence on the original sound of the Beach boys and guy's like Jan and Dean. Sometime in the 60's The original instrumental surf music went kind of underground where it was embraced by places like Scandinavia and other non english speaking places it does pop up every now and then in the mainstream but if you search youtube you can find tons of great surf guitarists and bands the genre is alive and well today
it's placed some where around "garage band" music

Got to respect j.r. brown for his guitar playing skills but i think his choice in that style of hat is what sets him apart you see I'm from Texas the only men who wear that type of hat also wear little tin 🌟 on their chest and usually call you son , boy, and as usual I'm trying to explain why I'm in such a hurry . But that's life in Texas !!
