Cool find, they call the west coast of Vancouver Island "graveyard of the pacific" I had a similar map as a kid. That's a keeper for sure.👍

My Great Great Grandparents shipwrecked there on the "Milo" in 1847 escaping the Irish Famine. They were stuck on Sable Island for a few weeks.

Good video about family history, GunGeek. ... Wikipedia has a page about the ~1927 Nova Scotia hurricane.~ The vessel Columbia (with 23 in the crew) is listed with the lost ships. ... There's also a separate page about ~Sable Island~ with information about the wrecks, horses, and much more.
.... The article in Wikipedia is worth a read, as Sable Island is a noted place, with a lot of history for such a small place.

I think this location has been known as one of the 12 Vile Vortices. It doesn't the have mystery Bermuda Triangle.
