Also I can tell when you threw that piece of log with the grapple you timed the release just right. If it would have been me I would have probably thrown it back at the machine.
Yes I did enjoy that, you have a nice touch with that machine Tim, You and Wadee should get together and have a stub end tossing contest and see who can throw that stub the farthest LOL Love the vids man great job
wow super fast saw you worked them up faster than a hand chaser could have .I would really like to try a one out on my loader be great to have when finishing a job up and the dangle head has moved to the next job hope you do some more video's on the grapple saw and hope that Deere and rotex are giving you kick backs for selling there equipment stay safe get logs
I know you being a life long logger and all you think no big deal but to a non logger like me that has never been around logging equipment this saw on the side of the grapple is pretty cool.
That hunting blind looks like a good place to put a camera to get a good video of the job in progression from cutting to skidding to processing to you loading. Just a thought I had from when I watched your video this morning and now watching this one now. What do you think? Thanks for all the videos.
I'm john_deere_748G on Instagram and you were right about it being great footage I like your grapple real nice and quick considering those logs were so big you figure it might slow it down a bit but she just keeps on slicin and dicin
Saw isn't high maintenance at all, you can run a chain for a long time even in hardwood. If you're asking if I'm high maintenance, I have been accused of that several times in the past 😊
who misses the good old days when you had two saw Men Behind the loaders doing all this work for you??!!!!
You Sir,are a pleasure to watch. That saw made short work of some challenging wood.Carlton chain right?Kidding!
That is a fast saw, great video!!!

does the grapple saw have a speed adjuster to control how fast bar moves ???
What's the grapple saws maximum cut? You made quick work of them!
32"
It'll cut a lot larger than 32" but you have to hit it on each side.
Awesome video. One question did you clean up the butt of the tree that Derrick miss cut on. Saw it when you and Kevin were measuring the logs.
Yed
Allan should like this
Have you ever done a video sharpening chain on rotobec
I have done one like that.
I'm john_deere_748G on Instagram and you were right about it being great footage I like your grapple real nice and quick considering those logs were so big you figure it might slow it down a bit but she just keeps on slicin and dicin
Yes that thing will cut

High maintenance?

Hahaha I heard that. Took me 5 or 6 months to figure out how to comment on here. Finally had to break down and ask the little woman. Lol. 😃
looks like you need to sharpen that chain maybe the video but looks like it's spitting out sawdust not big chips
grapple saw is bad to the bone
You're right about that
+cotontop3 it makes a world of difference, especially with a good operator like yourself. i got some footage of the 803m i run . will get it uploaded
