I think of a similar concept but trim the weight and price in favour of economics, you might be surprised at the interest it would garner. Especially if it had the means to measure the block of wood being cut. Whether that is done electronically or mechanically.

Do these saws have auto oilers on them? Or what is recommended for lubrication maintenance?

Looks stout. But I'd be more interested if it had rollers to advance the log for the next cut. Would be ideal for blocking firewood.
