Lovely to be able to visually process the analogue movement, definitely an interesting way of showing the difference noise, cables and connectors add to the sound!
I already have Plugin Doctor but for some reason it does not work with my Mastering The Mix plugins. I have just installed, used and it worked perfectly, so easy to use. I did not know about this plugin. Your videos really are life changing. Thanks again Chris.
Super Chris c'est super intéressant merci pour le tips ! c'est génial pour voir comment réagissent les EQ dans les Comp etc thanks buddy ! tests incoming je suis trop cureux de voir tout ça ˆ--ˆ
The Cubase plugin L/R trick can be done in Reaper, too. Each plugin has a "plug-in pin connector" window where you can choose just the left or right channel (defaults to both channels).
Thanks for posting this one Chris. I like your explanations which you do in detail, and even a rookie or newbie can benefit a lot from that. Btw, one nagging question(apologies if it sounds stupid): Does rendering a master through an audio interface driver provide better quality and/or resolution as opposed to rendering through an OS based native audio driver?
You add one instance at the beginning of your chain and click the "Set as gen" button which is actually the default. Then add whatever plugins you want to test in your chain. Then add another instance of EQ Analyzer at the end of you chain. When you look at the instance at the end of your chain you will see what effect your plugins in your chain have on the EQ response. Keep in mind this does not check any saturation/harmonics introduced by your plugins, only the linear EQ curve.
bonjour depuis Taipei... Not sure if it could be a complicated video but I heard it's possible to sample reverbs. I have a great TC M-One I love to use and if it could be sampled I would save a lot of time when exporting songs and I also would not need to record it on a separate track.
@@AdMBandLeader I feel like I should be saying that I feel better now.... but I don't, there's so many of us in the same boat but we really shouldn't be.. We should all be on dry land!! 🤣

The routing trick has me thinking of possibilities.
Great info for DAW nerds like us Chris. Thank you.
When I was beginning to produce and mix again, this helped me understand how Pultec & API eqs work. Really grateful this is free

Thank you very much, Chris! I downloaded Bertom Analyzer but couldn't understand how to route the signal to it...))

is there a way to see the eq curve and the harmonics that get added together?
What camera do you use?
Thanks!
Welcome!

The link to download the plugin leads to…… page not found.
Hey Chris, tried the link you added to download it but it comes out for 9.99, not for free. What am I missing? Thanks
That's a suggested donation, just write 0 instead of the 9.99
@@mixdownonline you are the man. Rock On
Shock horror... Yet again there's something built into Cubase pro that I never knew existed... Will this ever end?? 😬🤣
It has happened to me as well so many times..mostly after upgrades, but nonetheless a chain of regular shocks indeed😂😂😂

The plugin is not free tho
Chirs: The plug-in isn't free. It costs $9.99

Thanks for the video but I've heard this plugin a thousand times before
