    I like these, but find if I keep my knees relatively over my toes I need to lean way forward to not fall over backwards. Maybe because I'm 6'3 with long legs?

    First day impressions:It arrived in a waist high box. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxP26Tir6n60vUkdtn4mbwhRO8cwuJQNy2 Each dumbbell was in its own foam box within the shipping box. Everything was secure and in good shape. No weird smells. The weight changing mechanism is really smooth and straight forward. Changing weight is really fast and easy. Though the handle is plastic, I don't think it will be breaking anytime soon. So far pretty impressed after my first session with them. I was afraid they were going to be too wide at first, but I didn't have any issues with them while doing upright rows.

    Hey! Thanks for the tutorial. I have a question, should the tendon in my leg be popping with every squat? I dont like it and it's pretty unmotivating
    If theres any way to fix this please tell me!

      It's hard to say without seeing a video of you performing the exercise. But, I would encourage that you ensure that your knee is in alignment with your toes at the bottom of the exercise & that your knee isn't drifting inside or outside of your foot as you're squatting.

    Is it okay if your left foot points towards the left a bit and the right foot points towards the right a bit during this exercise? Or should you keep them both facing forward exactly? Thanks for the video!

      @@anonchuHey I’m going to give my input as a soon to be radiographer! Some peoples knees and/or feet don’t align PERFECTLY straight. For instance, mine are a lot like yours where my feet point a little out but my kneecaps are facing forward. Test positions out! If it feels right or wrong try a new foot position, it could be just that you are a little anatomically different :)

      Well if your goal is muscle building specifically usually around the 6-12 range rep is ideal so going heavier to hit failure could be beneficial

      You're learning the movement & coordination will follow. Keep moving under control & that shakiness will dissipate. Later into a set as you get closer to failure, the shakiness may still occur.

    You really didn’t give any specific cues on how to perform the squat movement (foot placement, stance width, squat depth, knee tracking, etc.). There’s way more informative videos out there on how to perform a dumbbell goblet squat so I’m not sure why everyone thinks this one is so amazing…

    • @PhysiqueDevelopment
      @PhysiqueDevelopment  11 місяців тому +1

      We appreciate your feedback, some times simple is better. Especially with an exercise like this, if you're bracing properly you are naturally going to fall into a pretty good position. Please take a look at our other exercises, as we do dig into greater depth in many of those.

    She still isn't going full ROM which is one of the benefits of goblets. I'm 65 and ATG goblet squat to a 6 inch depth (90 lbs.): ua-cam.com/video/zbViQfgh51s/v-deo.html

    • @PhysiqueDevelopment

      ROM is always going to be dependent on individuals mobility. At the given time of filming this video, this could have been the depth that she was capable of achieving. It's awesome that you have the ROM that you show in that video, congrats!
