In this video we tackle a 3-inch drop on the front of the 1970 C15.
The kit I used was all DJM. The install was easy but as you watch the video you will see we had some surprises waiting for us. The old stuff was clapped out. Out with the old, in with the new.

Great how to video!
What transmission do you have?. Thanks I'll be watching. I'm working on '70 old farm truck. Just ordered a 3/5 kit to put on .
I think its a T5. it was cobbled together when i bought it. it works so im not taking it apart until something breaks.
I love this thing. ! I have a 69 GMC long bed, how do you go about lowering the rear when it’s leaf springs. ?
Djm has a flipkit
Wow. You do the same stupid, unsafe shit I do. Good video.
sweet truck dude, do you have clearance issues with your headers?
Nope, fit like a glove.
I want to do the 5 inch drop coils in the rear but dont know if I need to C notch
Mine is on leaf springs so im unsure. Ive read both ways. Some say if you are street driving without jumping railroad tracks you will be fine haha. Having said that the c notch kits are cheap and look fairly easy to install. Im going through the same process right now in my head. If I decide to go that rout ill for sure make a video on it.
😬😬😬 almost lost your fingers

They came on it, i plan on doing new wheels on all 4 corners.
