If Costco has chosen to sell them for the market rate of $109 like reezy did, they would have made the $11k therefore they “lost” $11k when they chose not to do that and sell it at a lesser price. For one there wasn’t any stock online anywhere in the whole US. It was physical stores only, and they might not have 1 for your home or the 3 or 7 you need for your restaurant. Not to mention the time spent driving to Home Depot and loading and maybe renting a truck if you didn’t have one etc. also this is a good opportunity for me to let you know that it’s a logical fallacy to base others actions on what you would do because we’re not all the same. Most people don’t compare prices at all.
