Despite the fact that the Nothing developers are a small group of people, they are clearly gonna keep growing and soon be as good as the Ultra and the Pro max versions
Exactly but they are experienced and phone tech has grown so much to be a bit easier for new companies to enter the competition. It's Nothing but underneath it's 80 percent OnePlus and iPhone (Engineers and designers). They're doing great 😃👍
they need to reduce the Price from Phone 3 this new phone is completely overpriced. For the Price they should have given things like IP68 Water resistance and a Telephoto Lens (which i guess that's fine because Pixel 7 doesn't have it either). Anyway upgrading only the CPU shouldn't have raised the price so much they haven't made a lot of changes. Plus they have a lot of QC Issues like dust between the phone and back glass for a lot of people which you can't remove because it's inside but you'll always see it there.
I was confused between nothing phone 2 and galaxy S23 and I made the best decision to buy a galaxy S23. Because it's a flagship phone compared to a flagship killer phone.
I think that you should consider the size. It's a really different experience. And, of course, the design. I'm really happy with my s23 as I love and need compact phones.
I think the reason why nothing phone is becoming so highly popular is because it's run by a real guy who uses the phone and has a real interest in mobile technologies. Look him up! He has been interviewed by quite a few UA-cam influencers like MKBHD and Mr who's the boss. He's a super down to earth guy who doesn't mind saying the truth. He even talks about how great the iPhone is. That just shows you that he knows what quality is! And since he runs a business and he's pretty logical and rational I have no doubts that the future of nothing will be great if he keeps up with this trajectory
The thing here is, as it seems, nothing phone 2 is not a successor to the phone 1, it is the top of their line aiming for it to be a premium midrange, so if you consider the other cellphones as premium midranges then the comparison was quite fair.
Not even mediocre yet 😂😂😂hope they improve it with updates like phone 1 which became quite good for the price......... Adding disco lights and calling it innovation and flagship killer is a huge lie
Right and I also feel like the nothing phone shouldn't have got four points for its price because it hasn't been around as long as the other three and I don't think it's considered a entry-level flagship
No bro, it's a mistake in editing, just watch at 2:52, Nothing has 8 points after design review, but after camera test, it shows 5 points which is done by mistake, so they add only 1 point 8 to 9 but it shows 5 to 9.
Good catch! The error wasn't actually in the scoring, but what was shown on the screen. After the display, the Nothing had 8 points. With the 1 from the camera, it would have 9, which is what it has after the camera. The only issue here is that it's showing "5" rather than "8" , before the camera scoring. But in the end, the scoring is still correct.
Nice comparison, but I think there's a flaw, the price shouldn't be given points like the other categories since it's a comparison of value, you just do the point system for all the categories and then do a division by price to get the points per dollar score, that'd be the real show of value
With Android 14, all the issues mentioned have been fixed. The Pixel is unrivalled in experience, i traded my S23 for it. I have had no issues with the battery life or heating. I also have a noticed any glitches apart from the reddit app being just the worst.
Really great comparison, just what i was looking for. My only misgiving is the fact that the pixel 7 has been received incredibly well and I think in a more comprehensive tests ive seen in all scenarios its camera is much better than the Nothings. Also the pixel 7 sits a lot higher than the iphone 14 on DxOmark imaging tests too.
I am using pixel 7 pro, I m from a relatively hotter country , that being said heating issue is a nightmare plus front cam focuses on background and gives you blurry image. Battery is just straight out trash.
If nothing would have gave IP68 resistance and good HDR cameras would have been great device for me but now it hangs in-between. I actually prefer s23 or pixel than nothing 2.
I found that the pixel 7 was the cheapest $400 followed by s23 then phone 2 and lastly the Iphone 14 as the most expensive phone $800. I was shocked to find out that the s23 was actually cheaper than the phone 2.
Depends which country you live in. The Samsung S23 is over £700 in the UK , the iphone is similar in price. The Nothing phone is similar in price to the Pixel 7, possibly slightly cheaper
@TrainingAddict666 I recently switched to the S23 and the battery is actually pretty good, especially for its size. Pretty comparable to the iPhone 13/14. I used to have an S22 PLUS, and that thing had way worse battery life and overheating despite being bigger.
It's all subjective. At the end of the day it's what the individual user wants . I love the S23 range, they are superb devices. But I'd be more inclined to go for the Nothing phone . Plus the more people support a growing company the more they will develop and progress. I'm a pixel user , but I think they've lost their way , especially in the hardware department, so I won't be buying one again.

I knew it's gonna be good but not THIS much good. Can't wait to try it 😍
Pixel 7 is good. But not better compared to S23. One UI is indeed a work of art. Even stock android cannot match it now. It's a whole different level...
The Nothing ear(2) does offer better sound quality with Nothing phone, ear(2) supports lhdc which only works with the Nothing phone and a few chinese brands like Xiaomi and Oneplus, that's the best codec on any wireless earbuds right now, even superior to Sony's ldac
I use a s22 ultra and a Pixel 7 ... they are so comparable. I think all decent phones are these days. They're all so fast and powerful. Just pick the features you like and you're almost certainly gonna be happy.
Should've included the OnePlus 11 in this bcuz it has GREAT specs 80 watt charging to full in 27 mins, beautiful screen, long battery life and a great camera...
I still don´t understand how people say that apple having a small battery is a bad thing, they literally last as long or longer on a 15-20% smaller battery. This is a pure positive. It could be bigger but not nescesery.
Agreed 👍 the iphone and Samsung are the two most expensive (UK) I think the Nothing phone is similar in price if not cheaper than the pixel 7. Considering Nothing is a UK brand it's pricing is unfair
Unpopular opinion- for a 500 Dollar phone nothing had the worst camera. It does worst than any 300 Dollar Mid ranger. (Camera alone makes a lot of difference)
Much more to a phone than it's camera . Too much emphasis is placed on phone cameras nowadays. All phone cameras are technically ok. Another important factor is technical ability at taking photos, use of light, composition etc
This is possibly the best phone review/comparison video that I’ve ever watched. The amount of detail was perfect. Not too over the top to make a super long and boring video, but also more than enough information to really see what is best in each category. The only thing that I felt was missing was a features/functionality category, separate to design and usage. Although, I do feel like it was clear from other categories that the Nothing Phone 2 had the best features, with the iPhone being the worst here.

I cannot describe how excited I am to see what Nothing comes up with next. With Nothing OS 3.0 coming out next month, I see them approaching that perfect sweet spot between iOS and Android. I do appreciate what Google and Samsung are doing, but as a regular person who has no need for 4K resolution and 200x zoom, the amazing UI and just downright next-level design has really sold me. Plus Carl Pei seems like such an awesome guy and I think the Nothing Phone (3) will be a game changer for 2025. Thanks for reviewing!
The Best Phone is S23 for a Year from purchase But i think iphone works same as day 1 after years also. I have both iphone 14 pro and s23 ultra but s23 ultra lags now while iphone just works like before (without any lags).
Nothing Phone will convince me to leave my iphone one day. Samsung has a bad rep i just like underrated tech like the Asus Phone 7 Ultimate, to be better than the generic apple/samsung products.
i have fold 4 and s20fe as my second phone i want another phone to replace the s20 fe so which one you recommend exclude the google pixel so which one of the three you advice me to have
I bought a Nothing Phone (1) after I had the Pixel 6a and chose the Nothing phone hands down. I've given up iPhones after the 6 plus, the pricing for what they provide is ridiculous. Haven't gotten a Samsung ever but tbh, I hooked on Nothing. Don't know if I'll buy the 2 but, if I were to get a new device, it'll be a Nothing - whether the 2 or the 3 after that since the OS is coming to the first phone soon enough.
Nothing phone is really taken off! I am a pixel fanboy and no other Android phone has really got me interested other than pixels but the nothing phone lineup is starting to look really tempting! If you follow the founder, by the way he seems like a really cool guy, he did mention that he's looking into other form factors... Yes! You heard me! Other form factors... Nothing fold? Maybe...
Problem with Samsung is their awful UI overlay. Give me the clean Pixel OS all day. Also the pixel takes better photos as most reviews agree. Including Marquez who did a blind year and the Pixel cleaned house
This was a really great, really thorough video. Appreciated Nothing phone 2 is coming on Thursday I especially like the eco system comparison ...seeing all the phones with their buds next to them was a striking shot. The nothing tech together looks cool af!

How does he have 1.2 million subscribers with no views ?
I cannot describe how excited I am to see what Nothing comes up with next. With Nothing OS 3.0 coming out next month, I see them approaching that perfect sweet spot between iOS and Android. I do appreciate what Google and Samsung are doing, but as a regular person who has no need for 4K resolution and 200x zoom, the amazing UI and just downright next-level design has really sold me. Plus Carl Pei seems like such an awesome guy and I think the Nothing Phone (3) will be a game changer for 2025. Thanks for reviewing!
I had a feeling the Samsung would beat them all
Watching on my s23 ❤❤❤
hows your experience overall? i am using Samsung galaxy m51 and thinking to upgrade.
The Best Phone is S23 for a Year from purchase But i think iphone works same as day 1 after years also. I have both iphone 14 pro and s23 ultra but s23 ultra lags now while iphone just works like before (without any lags).
Stop spamming. I have the ultra, base s23 and a 14 pro max. None of them lag AT ALL.
iphone slows down alot after a year. Performace and display takes a nosedive
@user-wh3jy6wg6n google it. Apple even got sued for it
Nothing Phone will convince me to leave my iphone one day. Samsung has a bad rep i just like underrated tech like the Asus Phone 7 Ultimate, to be better than the generic apple/samsung products.
i have fold 4 and s20fe as my second phone i want another phone to replace the s20 fe so which one you recommend exclude the google pixel so which one of the three you advice me to have
Greet test. What do you think about the asus zenphone 10?
I bought a Nothing Phone (1) after I had the Pixel 6a and chose the Nothing phone hands down. I've given up iPhones after the 6 plus, the pricing for what they provide is ridiculous. Haven't gotten a Samsung ever but tbh, I hooked on Nothing. Don't know if I'll buy the 2 but, if I were to get a new device, it'll be a Nothing - whether the 2 or the 3 after that since the OS is coming to the first phone soon enough.
Give s23 a try , you'll never be disappointed
@@prasadbayaskar3630 I don't think so, it's much more expensive and I really don't like its UI, it's nothing like Nothing OS 2.
Great comparison. It was very helpful.
Please work on your hand movements.
You're forgot the OnePlus 11 !
Nice try comparing nothing with all other premium phones giving link at last .............Nice tactic
Damn this video is great! I'm subscribing😃👍
Welcome to the ZONE! 😁
12:19 If you want lossless 24-bit audio on the Ear (2), you need a Nothing Phone.
Camera need much higher weightage compared to other categories since that's what separates good phones from flagships nowadays.
Awful for you, Thousands of people love OneUI but you don't soo it's not a fact
It's Unique and more stable than PixelUI
Spider man reviewing phones now?!!😮
Andrew Garfield started UA-cam channel!?😂😂😂
This was a really great and detailed video! Cleared up so much doubts, Thank You!
Wouldn't it be fair to compare with the Pixel 7 "Pro"?
This was a really great, really thorough video. Appreciated
Nothing phone 2 is coming on Thursday
I especially like the eco system comparison ...seeing all the phones with their buds next to them was a striking shot. The nothing tech together looks cool af!
