This song changed my life on a bike ride across my home state of Michigan
🍄🌬️💨 🚴
pareil , a travers champs en region parisienne
Was it in the evening time that you heard it?
You see, I'm not even surprised by this. I hope it had been a change for the better, my friend
Good change is something at least whether for better or worse
i recently sent a song to my bf called “the lie we told and how we told it” also by yo la tengo. he was listening to it on repeat while fixing something on his PC, but when the few repeats were over, this song played.
he told me about it and how he really liked both, but i hadn’t heard of this song yet.
so while we were talking and playing games, i started playing this song on repeat.
it’s a little random and cringe, but finding new things with him and stuff he likes too, it makes me so happy
not cringe, cherish it, thank u for sharing this :3
A song that reminds me of riding in a cab in Glasgow in the middle of the night, crossing roads under bridges, yellow sandstone buildings on every side, but never too tall, never tall enough to engulf the vastest blue sky I have ever walked under.
I didn't discover this song in Glasgow. It just reminds me of it. Some songs just sound like places you loved.
i always wanted to go to glasgow-now i want to even more!
I've searched so hard for similar songs and I still haven't found any quite like this.
There aren’t any quite like this but I could offer a couple songs that give me a similar feeling:
#20 - Aphex Twin
Sway - Arrangement
RD1 - Blithe Field
Morning Sun - Dave Bixby
@@veggieloop5300 loved this one RD1 Blithe Field, thanks
this has a lot in common with Albatross - Fleetwood Mac
You should try listening to shoegaze, especially the slower shoegaze sound they sound ver familiar to this sound
Blue Green Arrow- YLT
wow this ambient song reminds me my home country ... deep south in france ...
The year 2000 and listening to this on cassette tape in a car from Berlin to Rostock in the summer.
My favorite song of all times... tied with Nick Drake's Horn.
Thans for doing it Yo La Tengo.
Peace everybody.
This is healing something inside of me
This song came on during a massage last week. Tears, man. Reminded me of being a kid, as the song already does.
The Peanut Butter Falcon uses this song so well in one of the best scenes in the movie.
Awesome! What memories!
Can't believe this has so little views
legend, unique soothing atmosphere
Snagged this album on vinyl. Start to finish amazing, but this song has always been my vibe.
Gorgeous song, thank you!
Thank you for sharing this moving and beautiful piece of music and inspiration with others
i haven’t heard this song since the middle of 2020 some dude used it on his pottery tiktok and i loved it so i searched for the song and now all the memories i had with this song are all coming back :)

Is the sound at the beginning the sound of the spring peeper frog? I’m so fucking sure it is, but idk how to confirm this
Uncle iroh vibes right here ❤
