This version I've listened on K.R.O.Q fm 106.7 f.m. and was hooked to buy the album of Altered Images at Tower Records in 1982. Such great memories of going to them night clubs dancing to this song and playing this too in my 1969 VW Beetle. Ahhhhhh. How life was good then. Long live the 80s 🎶📻🕺
Can’t believe it I was 19 when My mom went mad at me for blasting this at 2 o’clock in the morning lol now I’m a grandad 👴 thanks for reminding me of the best times ever 👍
Wifey & I are getting old now with grand children But Bi heaven we still love to hear this ,Takes us back to those hot sweaty disco dance floors.Memories eh?
Great to hear this !Brings so many memories of me and wifey sweating it out on the dancefloor dancing to this ,Still sounds great even though we are grandparents now.
Taped this on the John Peel Show in about 1984, and have never tracked it down on vinyl or CD. Thanks for posting it, great tune. Now I've found this and Log Cabin by the Teardrop Explodes my life is complete!
This is Isaac Atterbury.I am presently on Facebook.( I LOVE this song).( Altered Images is the second reason why I love The 1980's).( Isaac Atterbury).( 6-13-18).
Fan-fuckin-tastic. I have this long version on a goddamn flexi-disc (anybody remember those?) that was inside Trouser Press magazine. 1980s alternative music when it was first breaking was the friggin' best.
Very nice! Does anyone have the original US album version of the song? Was it the same as the Extended Version of the track? Do please update/reply! TQ!
@wsperger Yeah the fuckin' flexi discs were quite popular in the 70's. You usaully had to put a normal record under them as they would all bend up while you tried to play them. I hated the bleeding things.
This is IsaacAtterbury.Furthermore, I am on Facebook.(Attention !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This song and band is one of the first reasons why I love The 1980's, "New Wave" and " POST Punk" ,and LATE NIGHT EUROPEAN EROTIC MOIVES.In addition, this song also showed me my real life feelings are really in today's current music).(7-15-18).
1982. Late summer evening. Mk 2 Ford Escort. Driving to the Kirkstone Pass Inn with 2 girls. Peter Powell. Radio 1. The memories. Thank you.
