I've been enjoying the warm weather, but it hasn't gotten in the way of my PhD progress! ☀️ In fact, it's brought me even more joy and motivation to keep reading and writing 😊 I hope you enjoy this upbeat video as much as I enjoyed filming it!
I'm bogged down in a master's thesis and I don't know what I'm going to do when you finish. You have given such great perspective and rationality. Thank you for doing this and especially for your vulnerability!

I'm just starting out, so I'm only reading and taking heaps of notes (I won't bore you with the musicpsychology tower of books and essays I'm climbing). What you say about perfectionism, hits the nail on the head. I've even found, that submitting a "sub-perfect" draft invites more discussion and through that new ideas. Yes, there are corrections but amongst them are little things that make you go "aha!". So, embrace the imperfection as the soil to discover new seeds of potential.

Love your videos, and congrats on submitting the chapter! I’ve also read parts of Elizabeth Freeman’s Time Binds-her concept of chrononormativity is fascinating. I’m also really interested in non-normative (non-colonial/heteropatriarchal and non-anthropocentric) understandings of temporality and different ways of experiencing the flow of time, so the books you’re reading now are intriguing… and I’d love to hear more about your research on this!
