This is Mark’s sister. Prince William sound has been such a special place to me since I started going there as a teen. I was thrilled to finally come up with a plan to take my kids there.
A couple comments. The glaciers are on the order of 10,00 years old, but the actual ice is a couple hundred years old. The ice is constantly (slowly) moving through. Secondly, the glacial ice bergs are only 10% above water because they are so dense.

Hi. First off I love watching your family's adventures. I get excited like I'm there 😊. I have a question though. When the squid was biting, Bennett Mark's voice got kind of alarmed. Could it have caused permanent damage to him if they didn't get it off really fast?

You sound ridiculous, hunting and camping, fishing etc can be for anyone. It doesn’t make any one more or less manly. He is bonding and teaching his kids and its wonderful but it doesn’t have anything to do with masculinity

I LOVE that Bennett was more EXCITED while being bitten by the squid than scared or panicked!😄AND, I really love that your kiddos are out EXPERIENCING life, rather than watching videos on their cell phones 24/7. I was also raised this way and I really believe it set me up for success in life in so many ways. Thank you for this super entertaining video! Keep them coming, Mark and boys!
I've got to say Mark your Mom is one tough cookie!! I don't think I could be out there doing what she's doing and I'm 51 yes old!! Thank you for taking us on your adventure ✨️ I loved learning about the glaciers and oh my gosh when the squid was biting Bennett , and watching you all get those big shrimp I just loved it!! ❤
She is a great lady and we've learned so much from her. She loves being outdoors and taught us so much by example and deed over her lifetime.

I love the enthusiasm of Mark and the boys when they pulled up the shrimp pot! It is so great to see all of the family pulling together to fish for food. Your boys will have unbelievable memories.

As fantastic as this entire adventure was for everyone, I can just imagine the contentment on their first night home, all snuggled up in their warm beds, totally content with the joys they've just experienced and hearts happy and smiling. So blessed!

Thank you for taking us with you to experience the rain, the wind, the sea, those amazing glaciers, the icebergs, your amazing boys and Mark what a wonderful teacher you are, I especially lived your trip with Weston that was one special bonding moment. Mark I have to say your parents are phenomenal, hardy , hardworking Alaskans. I couldn’t do what they do and I’m 52, I wish I had my health so that I could come to Alaska and be just like them life loving adventurous humans who have lived a wonderful life full of adventures & in every weather. Please tell your parents that they have a woman who’s parents have passed away who’s in Glasgow who wishes she was in Alaska with them. Sweet Memories made and I know this won’t be the first time that I watch this video just to see your parents and all the kids having an absolute blast.
We are so grateful for my parents and their willingness to come along, participate and be with us. I learned by example as a young kid and went on many of these kind of adventures as a boy with my parents in the 80s and 90s.

Mark I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your video. You are such a good patient Dad and teach your boys so much, they are going to know how to do so many things that will help them as adults. I felt so sorry for all of you as you were so cold 🥶 in the freezing ride over and then the freezing rain ☔️ so glad you had a warm tent ⛺️ The scenery was breathtaking, the boys will never forget this special experience and the memories made with your family. Mark, I want to go on an expedition with you and the boys. Course I don’t know how to hunt, or do the wilds of Alaska, but you are a great inspiration and teacher. When you and Weston went on your boat outing just the 2 of you, and he turned to you out of the blue and said I LOVE YOU …my heart melted a little. It’s not often boys open up to their feelings and say that to their dads. At that moment I had a little tear in my eye. You and Lauren lead your children by great example. The extra love and support of both set of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins are the best. I know they say you are not to be jealous of others, I guess maybe another word would be envious. Your family truly is one of the best ❤. May you have a great week, and may the van recoup from the smell 😂

I fondly remember how much my Grandmother loved seeing Prince William Sound when she cruised Alaska and watching slides of how beautiful it is. As a child it seemed like another universe that l would never visit, now l get to enjoy those memories through your lens. Thank you. 😊

The fishing for squid and shrimp turned out so good !! Looks like they had a couple of great meals !!
