Luv the product vid!!
Definitely like your style, all the best. Looking forward to more great ideas
Nice , I like that , thanks for showing us .
Great idea!
Nice ..... Saty well .... Good morning from down South .
I agree it's a great idea.A 25Kg jerry can lifted 5 foot high is a Work-out,not to mention the corals it knocks off your reef!
That is pretty cool, should make thing a lot easier. I could use that in my basement to pump water up and out. Thanks for sharing!
Yep - good use case 👍
@@AquariumAdventures I want to be able to pump water back upstairs from 200 litre water butt in my cellar to my fish tank in ground floor room above around 5 meters of hosepipe required back to tank. Would this have sufficient head pressure to achieve this ?
According to the specs this can handle 20m head height, so it should be good (though I doubt it would run at the rated 3000lph!)
@@AquariumAdventures thank you I have ordered one - stay safe
Good idea I use an oase 1000 ltr pump but great
These begin leaking in no time at all, they're cheap. Looking at the Hozelock Jet pump now for my tank.
I use a small water fountain kit. Attach a hose to the output drop it in the tank and plug it in.
I made a home made python hook recently. Wire hanger cable tied to the end of a garden hose bent into a U. Give it a good suck at the other end.... Away for slates. Then the same build on another hose that I have connected to kitchen sink.
Advantage of this I think is the flexibility. Use as/when/where needed. Without knowing what it is made of however I wouldn't use it to add water to the tank. Then again I'm saltwater so corrosion is more of a problem.
That samcro hoodie though. Damn.
Do you ever suck up a cardinal tetra or other small fish?
Not yet! I have a little strainer I use when I'm not at the business end.
Damn! Took ten minutes for the notification to come through.
So drill has to stay on to continue flow correct??
Yes👍
It's a good thing to have around, I like it.
Less that £7 on ebay for something very similar. I use a power head to empty my tanks.
interesting gadget. so rather than having a T-joint and a valve on the return pipe from the sump.
and it is more simpler than those air "bladder" siphons.. well. every home should have a power drill... especially when you bought Ikea furniture to fill most of it.
so cost shouldnt be an issue
These are not expensive
Why not just use a powerhead of some sort?
You could, and I have before - just another option, and I find it easier to get in amongst stuff this way
@@AquariumAdventures you can get the type with an inlet as well as outlet to fit hose on both sides:-)
@@sted9245 I found that with them you can't completely empty anything - once the water level gets too low they stop working
Isolation... pahhh.. I’m back in to work monday
Monkey Nut I’m in work tomorrow! Trying to keep you all well / safe...
