Sometimes, you'll play Minecraft with realistic shaders and think, "Wow, this is beautiful!". But other times, you'll look at the game and realize that Minecraft doesn't need shaders to be beautiful.
I only started playing Minecraft about 2 years ago on Xbox 360 Edition, knowing not much of it. I wish I could go back to how it felt. I was a kid, again. The game alone is astonishing, but what sets it far beyond all other games, in tandem with the vast control over your own world, is its sound and music. I believe if the game had went another, say goofy or playful route, then it wouldn't be taken as seriously, nor would it survive and manifest itself in the real world. Coming from a dude who loves Dead Space, Fallout, CoD, various RPGs, Skyrim, Bioshock, and other brutal or beautiful games... I can say with full confidence that Minecraft is the best game ever made.

(Day 4) Evening. At this rate I will always be writing these entries near midnight. When school starts I'm definitely not going to be able to do that. Today was pretty busy: I woke up, ate, played some minecraft with my internet buddy we usually play minecraft with every morning (Since he lives in Britain). After that I didn't have enough time to eat lunch because I had/wanted to go to a high school American Football game that my brother's friends played in. My brother drived me there because my dad leaved early to work then go shopping. My brother was really late so we got there late. When we were there we were walking and I forgot my phone In his car, and surprisingly, he actually walked back with me. I got my phone, then my dad called my brother (My dad was at the game) and said we missed one of my brother's friends score. Instead of saying "too bad" my brother slammed the door and yelled at me. What a kind brother. The team my bro's friends were on lost 47-12. My bro actually left the middle of the game because he was so mad. Me at my dad ended up eating dinner at our family friend's house who's kid was in the game. Today was a bit crazy, but fun. I'm laying here on my bed with my cat, typing this and looking at the sky. on a blustery winter day. you stay inside and keep warm beneath blankets. clicking of video game controllers. staying up late at night with your sibling. losing yourselves within the game. creating all day, and all night, imagination wild. traveling to lands far away, endless destinations. watching your character brave the cubic world. hours and hours you spent here. being young, and free of responsibility. wake up. ••••••••••• you grow older. it’s hard to play the game now. you no longer have time to spend on it. your mind becomes your own prison. void of all creativity. void of all freedom. it becomes a beacon. a beacon for fear, for sadness, for anger. you feel emptiness within; a dark void. you long to be set free, to create again. to leave the darkened prison in which you reside. the mere mention of the game brings you back. to a time without the ache of age. wake up. •••••••• close your eyes. you’re in the dream. brick by brick. you create your world again. you rekindle your inner child-like creativity. you remember. the countless hours spent building your world. a whisper within your mind encourages you. make a choice, young one. stay in your pain, or return to your own world. wake up. ••••••• you pick up the controller. start up the game, hearing the soft music again. watch the screen load until your world appears. a smile creeps across your lips. your vision becomes blurry with tears. you remember. days spent crafting, learning, exploring freedom. freedom to be whomever, travel wherever. freedom to be young again. wake up. ••••••••• you can no longer be young. no matter how hard you try. but there is always the game. a place where you can be free of reality. even if just for a few moments. you can return whenever you please. to remember the escape the younger you had. to remember that freedom of creativity. no build too hard, easy, or obscure. a three-dimensional map of human imagination. the game is here until your last waking breath. holding out it’s hand to your inner child. saying you can escape, little one. i’m here. wake up. •••••••• wake up. from your reality. from the pain you carry within you. from the grey walls you live within. from the lack of calm and peace. from the pain age has brought to you. arise and escape to the world you made long ago. freedom is waiting for you on the other side. wake up.

a bit too nostalgic i cant focus on my work lol minecraft...the one game that has let me keep my sanity through this pandemic...the one thing that my brothers and i can play without arguing with each other or someone doing something stupid...the one game that i will play forever.
(Day 2) Good evening. I will be telling about me growing up and where I am currently. I am currently 13, growing up with my divorced parents. They divorced when I was 3. I am growing up in good households; my dad has some anger issues but it's not that bad. He is a grade 5 (usa) teacher My mom was a teacher who went to their students house (The kids were usually disabled or recovering from a surgery) and teach them. She is now a councilor specializing in couples. I also have one 17 year old brother, who is a senior in highschool now. I live in California, Usa. My favorite games are Minecraft and Gta 5. My favorite genres are Alt rock, metal, heavy metal, and a vast array of different types of jazz. That's all for today, but I'll see you tomorrow
(Day 3) Morning. I'm writing this at midnight because i kinda forgot about this haha. I think this is where I can start taling about more of my present life. School is starting this Wednesday I'm going to go into 8th grade and I am not exited. I have focus problems, and i get overwhelmed very easily. I usually take a break to calm down, and it works, but it takes lake 10- 30 minuets. I am going to the doctor with both of my parents to maybe get prescribed adhd medicine or something like that. I've never taken an add test, but I know I show a few symptoms of adhd, but not all. I hope it works if i get it because I'm going to get a lot of homework. On the other hand, my 17 year old brother got another girlfriend. He has gotten like 3 girlfriends, and they never even lasted a month. All the girls had pretty good personalitys, but they were always on their phone. Like brother, get a good girlfriend! LOL! Well, thats about it for today, I will sou you tomorrow. Peace!

staying up late at night with your sibling.
losing yourselves within the game.
creating all day, and all night, imagination wild.
traveling to lands far away, endless destinations.
watching your character brave the cubic world.
hours and hours you spent here.
being young, and free of responsibility.
wake up.
•••••••••••
you grow older.
it’s hard to play the game now.
you no longer have time to spend on it.
your mind becomes your own prison.
void of all creativity.
void of all freedom.
it becomes a beacon.
a beacon for fear, for sadness, for anger.
you feel emptiness within; a dark void.
you long to be set free, to create again.
to leave the darkened prison in which you reside.
the mere mention of the game brings you back.
to a time without the ache of age.
wake up.
••••••••
close your eyes.
you’re in the dream.
brick by brick.
you create your world again.
you rekindle your inner child-like creativity.
you remember.
the countless hours spent building your world.
a whisper within your mind encourages you.
make a choice, young one.
stay in your pain, or return to your own world.
wake up.
•••••••
you pick up the controller.
start up the game, hearing the soft music again.
watch the screen load until your world appears.
a smile creeps across your lips.
your vision becomes blurry with tears.
you remember.
days spent crafting, learning, exploring freedom.
freedom to be whomever, travel wherever.
freedom to be young again.
wake up.
•••••••••
you can no longer be young.
no matter how hard you try.
but there is always the game.
a place where you can be free of reality.
even if just for a few moments.
you can return whenever you please.
to remember the escape the younger you had.
to remember that freedom of creativity.
no build too hard, easy, or obscure.
a three-dimensional map of human imagination.
the game is here until your last waking breath.
holding out it’s hand to your inner child.
saying you can escape, little one. i’m here.
wake up.
••••••••
wake up.
from your reality.
from the pain you carry within you.
from the grey walls you live within.
from the lack of calm and peace.
from the pain age has brought to you.
arise and escape to the world you made long ago.
freedom is waiting for you on the other side.
wake up.
i perfectly matched this up with the song and almost cried
This comment is soo underrated
Even with less than 2 minutes added it feels like a huge change :,(
edit: i think i listened to it way too much because now i think the original is too fast
This is perfect for Minecraft the movie

5:08 most beautiful part
a legend has passed on the calls and cry's of fans memories of the legend is still up there tecnoblade never dies he will fight god and he will win
Its so sad and inspiring
There's no reason for shaders to exist, because Minecraft
is already beautiful without them.
I think the highlight is 5:44
I feel overwhelming
This song really reflects on techno blades death, one of our Minecraft legends.
Rest In Peace, techno
Technoblade never dies.
*ever*
Please creators of this game, let this game love forever and never let the game die, no matter what it takes, let the game live to the future.
This is a love letter to Minecraft.
(Day 3) Morning. I'm writing this at midnight because i kinda forgot about this
haha. I think this is where I can start taling about more of my present
life. School is starting this Wednesday I'm going to go into 8th grade
and I am not exited. I have focus problems, and i get overwhelmed very
easily. I usually take a break to calm down, and it works, but it takes
lake 10- 30 minuets. I am going to the doctor with both of my parents to
maybe get prescribed adhd medicine or something like that. I've never
taken an add test, but I know I show a few symptoms of adhd, but not
all. I hope it works if i get it because I'm going to get a lot of
homework. On the other hand, my 17 year old brother got another
girlfriend. He has gotten like 3 girlfriends, and they never even lasted
a month. All the girls had pretty good personalitys, but they were
always on their phone. Like brother, get a good girlfriend! LOL! Well,
thats about it for today, I will sou you tomorrow. Peace!
thanhks for this...
