    I definitely enjoy how dramatically emotional this piece sounds in piano. That's my favorite part of it.

    • @MaxHowser
      @MaxHowser 10 років тому +1

      I'm actually currently making a My little Pony: FiM RPG, that's going to actually have some serious emotional depth and is going to take itself very seriously. I'm probably going to have this song play in a tense portion of the game where Rainbow Dash's life is in your hands, and you don't have much time to save her life. It's going to be very dark, and I'm trying to make it like Steven Universe. Bright, Vibrant, and Joyful at times, but also can be a weighted and dramatic experience.

      i was forced to play piano as i was growing up. i hated it, and quitted it 10 yrs ago, and vowed to never touch piano again in my life. I guess my point is, everyone is different, and being forced to do something everyday can make u hate it. sure i miss having the skills, but it isnt a big loss in the grand scheme of things.

      You will never read this but if they had forced you to play piano, you wouldn't have written this comment and your life would be totally different and maybe you wouldn't have discovered this song that you apparently love, so be happy with what you have because think of all the things that would be different. Don't wish to be another person than you are because then you aren't yourself. :D

      My mum is a season concert pianist, and didnt force me to play. she saw my potential in music, and asked when i was 6 (which is when she figured i could make my own honest decision) if i wanted to take piano lessons. knowing me, i dont like lessons of any sort. she knows i like doing things on my own free will and not cause i have to. She offerred me to do 5 lessons, and if i dont like it i can quit. I agreed, i did the 5. After they were complete my mum asked if i enjoyed the piano lessons. My response was "You said i only have to do 5, then i can quit." she didnt say anything, but we both knew that i never said i hated it. To this day i regret not continuing. My mum reminds me that if i had continued to play, and take lessons, I would have surpassed her skil tenfold and would be able to make a fulfilling career out of piano alone. Today i am a professional music producer, audio engineer, and composer. But still to this day, I wish i continued my training so i can play these masterpieces, and all of my favourite music. Even my own.. Its never too late to start though!

    I'm currently 22 and never touched an instrument past extremely basic, entirely forgotten lessons in elementary school. I always loved music and this was the song that made me want to learn. I bought a shitty 80$ piano off Amazon and got to work. This is probably my 7th day of learning this song and have mastered the first 30 seconds. The start was what felt the hardest, honestly. The first 5 seconds of the song took me a day to even play without fucking up at about a quarter of the intended speed. There's a couple notes in the next verse that seem impossible for me to play because of how small my hands are, but understanding basic music theory helps a lot when trying to change a note to accommodate for something.
    If you try, you can definitely learn to play it, even with baby hands like mine. It's not easy by any means, but when you play it right, it feels amazing. I remember picking up the pace and thinking all the notes were just noise at this point. Went to bed, woke up, played again after a warm-up and it felt so much different. It might take you several months to perfect it, but you'll eventually get there.

    • @ianfinrir8724
      @ianfinrir8724 4 роки тому +1

      Eventually, your fingers will get stretched out slightly from practice, making it a little easier to hit certain notes.

    Nice arrangement. I believe those who are musically inclined and actually likes the game itself would be glad about this.

    This was almost the first song i tried to learn. I was new to piano but really wanted to play, so i started playing things like Zelda's lulluby and Promise Reprise but i wanted to get good and so i challenged myself with a song i really wanted to learn and so i found this tried to learn it. I spent 5 hours a day everyday for about 3 weeks. I now have perfected it i can play this entire song, It was hard but i learnt it in the end. Anyone can do this if they have patience and passion for it.

    I think one of my favorite parts is 1:02 because it speeds up a tad compared to most of that part, so it's kind of a nice transition.

    I guess this will be quite a challenge to learn. I love both the game and the music. Maybe this is because I grew up with these games and I am a bit nostalgic, but I think games before were so much funnier and filled with more magic. Finding secrets in these games felt so much more satisfying than in any new game.
