can't believe people keep acting like the Pixel 6A's display is choppy. It's not. It's one of the best 60 Hz phones I've ever had. It is silky smooth and a more powerful processor, opens apps faster than The phone 1
Yes, it is smooth; ignore those who claim they cannot tell that 6a is smooth because if they do, others will make fun of them by asking how 60 hz can be smoother than 120 hz; for the majority of Tech UA-camrs, numbers are what really count.
Hi all! As pointed out by a helpful commenter, the '5 years' that Google lists on their website only refers to the security updates. Delving in a little deeper, it's only 3 years for Android updates 👍🏼
The difference between the photo and video qualities of these two phones was the interesting part for me. As for the performance, most tasks that people do on phones are single core tasks. So I guess that if you want a really fast phone, the single core scores matter a lot.
Since when do Pixels get 5 years of android updates? I thought they only get 3 years if I'm not mistaken. 3 years of android updates and 5 years of security patches.
Fantastic comparison. For their prices they are both great devices, you are bang on and it all boils down to what's most important to you personally. 😎
The moment I saw your Video Aesthetics I hit the Suscribe button. Love this video! will go and watch more of your videos that you've posted. May be if I have a YT tech channel, I'll copy some of your style 😅 Just love it!
Great video mate. I just wanna know if the nothing phone supports LHDC 5.0 as the nothing eat 2 supports LHDC 5.0. I have used iPhone for years now but im just getting bored of them on how they usually just copy Samsung in features a year later. I am asking the question about LHDC 5.0 support because i want to change to android. I have a phone in mind but im curious if any of the Nothing phones support LHDC 5.0 as i do really like how they look.
Thank you very much! I did, but they arrived quite late. So I’m actually writing the review right now! Trying hard to get it posted at the end of this week but we’ll see how filming and editing goes 😬
@@insidetechltd please do conpare the q45 to the q35. Also some differences i found between them Some advantages of the q35 over q45 - • The wear sensor weirdly exists in the older (not so older) q35 • The 3.5mm cable has an angled jack and is about 124cm long for the older one. • The q35 apparently sound very similar to the q45 (according to a review by "Brannon No D") • q35 also has NFC (idk if the q45 has it) • Also the q35 has touch control similar to the xm4 for noise cancellation/transperancy/normal • Also i get an airplane adapter in the q35 • you can get them for $89 during sale (which i did) or a regular price of $104 • Also you can use two devices in dual connect using LDAC. Some advantages of the q45 - • q45 has 3 mics and the q35 has 2 mics on each cups. • 4 hours in 4 minutes vs the 4 hours in 5 minutes of the q35 • 50 hours of total instead of 40 hours of q35. Also P.S.A - Dont plug your q35 to the airplane using the wired cable soundcore advises against that (although we get one in the box)
One of the main selling points of the nothing phone was the build quality. There are not many phones that have metal sides at $400. If they make it plastic it’ll just feel cheap and there’s no way they’ll be able to sell a plastic phone for $700 considering that’s what the phone 2 costs right now.
dude u literally crapped the shit out of the 6a .. u made it look like its a horrible phone,on other hand iheard a youtuber saying that the 6a has the smoothest looking 60hz ,and that sometimes it feels like its a 90hz phone..
Hey, which true wireless earbud in your opinion is better regarding audio quality? The Sony WF-100XM4 or the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3? Is also a review plannee for the Sennehiser? Thanks in advance for your reply Great vid as always even when oneplus isnt allowed in germany anymore.
I think Sennheiser's Momentum 2 are technically higher quality, so I would expect the Momentum 3 also are, but i'm yet to test those fully! I do plan to review them eventually but i haven't had time yet 😔 Sony has a bit more of a warmer, bass-heavy sound in comparison.
My nothing phone making rattling sound while shaking, it is probably ois sensor, anyone else having the same issue please tell me because flipkart is worst, its not replacing the phone for this issue.
I saw a review recently that emphasized on Nothing being a new company and with it having no history yet, theres no assurance that it can give what it promised on the security updates. Do you think this is a concern?
Actually, i'm going to say yes...but not exactly for the updates. They've actually been pretty good about releasing updates and quick to fix bugs - it's been an impressive start. The thing that concerns me is their customer support. I recently had a big problem trying to get one of my phones returned (I bought multiple for review purposes). Nothing about the process gave me confidence in getting my money back (slow replies to emails, a cumbersome return process and an extremely long time to get the money back). They actually asked me to pay for the return shippings costs via paypal (not heard a company do this before), so at one point i'd paid more than the cost of the phone and had nothing to show for it. It took over a month for the return to complete - so their customer service would definitely concern me if I ever needed technical support in the future. The phone is cool, but if something went wrong with it...do I have confidence in Nothing fixing the problem quickly/easily? Hmm...🙅♂️
The most biased review I've ever seen between these two phones. And you said Phone 1 is more premium, like 10 times. If copying an iPhone design is win for you, then I'm out!
I dont get why people keep talking about keeping their face up to see who is calling, who the hell is looking at this niche phone and does not have a smartwatch?
Exactly this ^ if you’ve ever experienced any kind of high refresh rate before (or even an iPhone) then don’t get the 6a because you’ll notice the screen straight away
The XR (even at 60 Hz) is a lot smoother than the 6a! Of course there are other reasons you might want to change. But the display is something you’ll probably notice as a downgrade if you switch to the 6a
I think Nothing’s display still looks nicer and feels smoother (but colours are worse). Also the phone design 🤷♂️ but otherwise yeah, the Pixel 6 wins in basically everything else
I mean the general display colours. So not just when browsing media content, but permanently. If you look at whites especially in menus you’ll see they aren’t as accurate as on the pixel. Pixel wins for display colour accuracy
*In my testing over Xda the Pixel 6a had a brighter display* both in manual and automatic settings with more accurate colours. The HDR performance on Nothing Phone 1 is also poor while watching videos. Also in real-world use, Pixel 6a was substantially better in gaming and video rendering too. My friend @Juan Bagnell and others have mentioned in their performance testing as well. In social media apps too, Pixel 6a supports ultra-wide lens and night-mode in Instagram and Snapchat respectively. The 3rd update on Phone 1 almost ruined the experience for me, @Geekyranjit mentioned in detail on his UA-cam channel too. Considering that, I don't agree with your better software on Phone 1 at all. *Good detailed review anyways.* Cheers.

60hz can be really smooth just look at iPhones. Android just has a history of making choppy 60hz animations.
@@kab1r 60hz iPhones arent smooth…. using a 13 pro and an iPhone 11. the 11 is clearly choppy….

That's right - and that's why for most tasks the two phones are fairly similar in performance, even though Tensor is more powerful than the 778G+

Google specifically states 5 years, and that’s what’s shown on the website right now too 🤷♂️
