interesting. I am currently 1808, so pretty much the same rating. To me it feels like there is such a big difference between 1700 and 1800. Every single game drains me completely at the moment.
Yes I see what you mean. It just all depends on your thinking process it feels like. But I will say, 1800’s still make tons of mistakes and play terribly sometimes, so there’s hope!

Dude…don’t waste time learning the bishop checkmate. Your games are not decided by that extremely uncommon pattern. Do tactics, calculation work, and review your games. I maybe wouldn’t even look at endgames. Maybe lucena and phildor and basic pawn endgames.

@@mikecantreed oh for sure haha I’m always saying, as someone who has played some OTB, with the way some of us play at 1800-2000, your local 1600 club player will chew you up and spit you out because they actually calculate haha
