      Lol I don’t even know how you would stage a Chess.com game. So you think I jumped into the 10 min pool and then purposefully staged my own loss?

  • @Tammychessgurl
    @Tammychessgurl 8 годин тому

    Ok, so look. I always appreciate chess content. The more the better. But i still have to say, either this Wesley dude is not 1900 or, if he is, all of this "progress" he is making is staged. As a 1900 myself, i got to say, nobody at this rating plays like this. To clarify, i do mean the specific moves hes making (they look preplanned) but i am also talking about his mannerisms. His movements, his facial expressions, the way he talks to himself... he doesnt seem genuine to me, tbh. Maybe I'm too skeptical but this guy is making obvious staged content.

    • @WesleyPlaysChess

      Staged content against random Chess.com players in the 10 minute pool? Well idk what to say but that sounds like way too much effort. I’m just playing chess and recording myself my guy

  • @bunkerputt

    Oh man... Nf6 and d5 is unplayable over 1800 against d4 and c4. If that's even in your thinking, that should be cleaned up.

    • @WesleyPlaysChess
      @WesleyPlaysChess 15 годин тому

      Nah I don’t typically play that, I was trying out the Nf6, c6, Qb3 line against the London as it’s very tricky. Just playing around. But when they played a Queen’s gambit I was already out of theory because typically I play d5

    • @Kamamura2
      @Kamamura2 6 годин тому

      What a nonsensical statement. Any viable opening is playable as long as you know it well and you are getting the positions you like. d5 and Nf6 covers like 90 percent of the viable opening repertoire. Blanket statements like yours are simply ridiculous.

    At 4:03 I was thinking rook b5 was a good move, forking the queen and bishop. If the queen wants to defend the bishop it goes to a3, then you play nb1 to chase the queen away to win the bishop. Not sure if it worked or not. You had a miss there but you whizzed past that part in the analysis.

    • @WesleyPlaysChess

    • @WesleyPlaysChess

      Maybe because Qxb7 threatening the rook? And then I need to move the knight, and I can no longer play b5 with tempo which is why dxc4 is a mistake

    Yeah, sometimes the cheating is so out of hand sometimes, it makes chess not fun when it happens. I remember playing a guy who absolutely destroyed me and the whole time in my mind, I'm thinking, "what am I doing wrong? I'm not even playing that bad." So game was over and I moved on, played other opponents and couple days later got that "We have detected one of your recent opponents has violated our fair play policy" message. I knew exactly who it was. Scrolled through my games, and sure enough, it was that guy. Like, why even cheat?

    I had the same problem with time trouble and the best advice I was given was to start playing 3+2 blitz games, it's hard at first and will take a while to get use too, it forces you to calculate faster, play faster, etc but for me it has been worth the struggle because now I rarely often struggle with time control and have noticed an overall improvement.

    • @WesleyPlaysChess
      @WesleyPlaysChess 5 днів тому

      Oh yah I play a looooooot of blitz. The issue for me is that I don’t like playing like blitz in rapid games - especially not 15I10 because you really have time to calculate in those. Less so in 10 min. But I’m working on the time management

    • @_ryan843
      @_ryan843 4 дні тому

      @@WesleyPlaysChess playing more blitz has helped me spend less time on moves that do not require much time to think about and spend more time where it is needed in the critical moments of the game, I don't want you to take this by any means as criticism, I have seen you spent too much time on moves that simply do not require much time to think about, this than later puts you in a time crunch in the late middlegame or endgame.

    I cannot get it, how the American Indians can be proud of music of Scott Irish heritage? Only because it was included into this movie? The movie is a masterpiece of the West/European civilization. The movie is based on another masterpiece - historical romance novel by James Fenimore Coope - also European. The music in the film - has nothing to do with American Indians either - it has Scott Irish heritage, also West/European. Only the 2 American Indians are shown very positive in this movie (the father and his son). And they are literally the last men. The others - are ruthless and do not command any respect. Based on it, what exactly makes you proud with this movie, can you please explain?
