I was wondering if this lived up to the hype, lol. Obviously it wasn't going to be on the level as the first, but I'll still get around to watching it, even if it's just for the action scenes.
I watch it for the action scenes and Denzel also. Compare to the first one. The first one was better. You trying to compare Russell Crowe to Pedro Pascal. Not a fair comparison to be honest.
How are you doing and how is your day? I have to say I really liked this film, while I don't like it as much as the original gladiator I still really enjoyed it on its own. It had a good story, great action and performances, Denzel Washington definitely stole the show! I was in fact entertained!
I know many people think this movie is a copycat of the first one and that fine. However, I enjoy the heck out it it. Maybe a bit too long but it was worth the price of admission.
That understandable. You have high hope for a movie that did so well in the first one, only to be let down. Although I enjoyed it, the first one was better. I can see many people have a point that its like a copycat of the first one. Fair point.
