I really appreciate that you discussed Pathfinder functions from a practical perspective, with workflow examples. Too many tutorials focus solely on the key presses and mechanics, without mentioning how a given tool might actually be applied.
When you said that after dividing there is a faint cut line, is there a way to prevent that? As i added highlight to some text but you can see a very thin cut line between the shades. The only way i can think about preventing this would to duplicate the text so that the highlight sits on top rather than replacing the text colour but it seems a bit too much
What replaced minus front? And if I use the pen or curvature to create my shapes it should still be able to create the desired effect from those shapes, right? Having trouble, does my object need to be just a fill with no outline or can I have both?
