Hortus Bulborum is a trasury of historical bulbs, The foundation manages the unique Hortus collection garden with its 4.000 spring-flowering historical bulbs. This collection consits primarily of tulips, narcissus and hyacinths, but there is also a small number of Fritillaria and crocus, primararily the C, vernus types. In addition to functioning as a gene bank, the garden has a seasonal display of thousands of heirloom bulbs, some of which are no longer in commercial production. Certain tulips originated in the 16th century.

Hortus Bulborum is een schatkamer van historische bolgewassen, De stichting Hortus Bulborum beheert de unieke collectie Hortus Bulborum tuin met zijn 4.000 voorjaarsbloeiende historische bolgewassen. Deze collectie staat bestaat voornamelijk uit tulpen, narcissen en hyacinten, maar er is ook een klein aantal Fritillaria en krokussen, primararily de C, vernus types. Naast het functioneren als een genenbank, zie je in de tuin een duizenden bollen, waarvan de meeste niet meer in commerciële productie zijn. Sommige tulpen ontstonden in de 16e eeuw.
