- Опубліковано 3 лип 2024
- Today we are counting down the most effective signature moves in NBA history. For this list we are not focused on flashiness and showmanship, but simply on effectiveness. So moves like Allen Iverson's crossover, Jamal Crawford's shake'n'bake, Tim Hardaway killer crossover etc. are not on the list. Here we are only focusing on how easy do the players score out of their respected signature moves.

So about the music... Got a copyright strike for a "non-copyrighted" song we used for this video and we had to change it. UA-cam only offers one song from their library per video, and none of the songs offered were over 8min. The only genre with longer songs was classical, so we said screw it and went for it! It gives the video a diferent vibe so we hope you like it :)
One legged fade-away should be top 2
☝️
Naw

Young players should study these moves to improve their game.
It's why I'm here ♟️
Crack heads be talking shit cause can’t save yo ass by shooting a 3pointer
Dirk is still somehow underrated....ill put him over kd as unguardable
You can only hope that Dirk misses the shot, because there was no way to stop that guy during his prime!
AJ ON THE MIC I’ll put Kd over him just cause he can do the same thing and shoot contested threes and mid ranges and make it.Hes more athletic also or more athletic then him.
Elastic KD does not have a great fadeway.
KD relies on height, shooting, speed to score.
He has no great moves. Not even good moves.
But yet KD is still very good.
But KD easily is a better passer than Dirk.
@@prezian1312 more athletic?you must haven't watched how agile and speedy young dirk was
Always enjoy your videos. Quality!
Number 2 should be called WIlt's Finger Roll. The Dipper was the name given to his dunk shot, as in "Dipper Dunks".
Thank you for this info, never knew that!
in one of the Wilt highlights, he does the up and under just as McHale
@@BasketballFundamentals Also, I think I would have put his fall away jumper higher than his fingerroll. It was that shot that made him as dangerous as he was because blocking off the paint didn't prevent him scoring reliably.
The Wilt Finger roll is the best finger roll I've seen.
You can put his with the Iceman.
But that fallaway is Dirk fallaway before Dirk was even born.
Wilt dunked on top of the dipper.
Where is Scalabrine Pull up Fade away 360 dream shake dunk from full court?
#1: James Harden free throws
Wilt had an unstoppable fadeway also
What about Hardens step back?
By the time he is done, his move will be one of the most iconic in league history.
@@BasketballFundamentals Then what about Stepen Curry? Is he done?
Karl Malone's elbow in Isaiah's face is clearly missing here
Kobe
The dream shake
I would have dirk at 3
I think we all agree on num1
These kids cant even begin to comprehend the art of the skyhook. And why its the most unstoppable move of all time
#1 Charles Barkley 3's
Ayoo dwight howards freethrow shot
Now...we all can argue about these slots and their positions. Ill play devil's ad right quick.
Outta all these moves Curry's 3 is just so damn devastating and demoralizing.
For me wilt chamberlain one handed fade away bounce is one of the most effective signature move especially when your 7ft and can do that shot, that's a ungaurdable shot
No Allen Iverson crossover?
Wait wait ..hold on justa sec. Black 🌪?
I've never heard black tornado and i been watching shaq all my life 😂😂
Dirk's fadeaway... No answer to that..🤷
Jordan's fadeaway gave Jordan a 6-0 rings and 5 seasons Mvp awards and no version of fadeaway will top that and FYI Jordan is the original
esp l jordan isnt the first its wilt
Jordan is not even close to being the first player using the fadeaway.
Didn't Yao Ming exposed Shaq?
Subjectively ranking these moves doesn't have the impact as ranking them using the objective interpretations. Although I don't know where or if there are statistics registering the points per play, I think that would more accurately depict the effectiveness objectively.
Yes those specific stats and analytics would help a lot when talking about who had the best and most effective move. I know my subjective opinion doesnt have much weight, but i tried my best to rank the moves.
Objective ranking is tough because you just have less footage of some of the old players. Wilt has pretty limited video to study and Kareem has limited film of his early years vs his later years.
Curry most effective
right selection not the right sequence
U really put Steph pull up 3 on this? U a fan boy for that
man. How you not going to show kobe's fadeaway over lebron when he was on the cavs.
Background music it sucks
Yea I actually wrote a comment about music on this video. Got a copyright strike for an instrumental that i initially used, and the only options youtube gave me was classical music. So I had to go with it.
that song will still be around a lot longer than the new shit you listen to today.
How are any of these above MJ and Kobe’s fade-away??? The only one that makes any sense... and I mean any sense, is Kareem’s sky hook. I can’t believe your gonna say that Dirk’s fade-away is better than MJ and Kobe’s. Smh, this is so biased and disrespectful. You won’t be getting another view from me.
6 languages and 4 degrees You’re just young and biased towards newer players. You’re very disrespectful. Ask anybody that played against Kobe if that’s true and I GUARANTEE you that they will say that what you just said is complete CRAP and comes from a place of total ignorance.
Kobe's fadeaway ain't effective whatsoever man. You say he's biased, you're biased just because of his death, and Dirk's fadeaway is way more effective because like MJ he mastered it, but it just makes Dirk's more effective is that he's 7 feet tall
Dirk's fadeaway is lightening quick.
But his fadeaway is really Wilt's.
Wilt was doing that fadeaway in Highschool. Hundreds od college scouts saw it and no team still knew how to stop it.
He dropped 52 in his first college game.
Even though they doubled him the whole game and even tripled sometimes when he got the ball.
Wilt still scored on them.
