Once you zip the file to local drive, you can use the extracted Design.svg file directly in InkScape to make any individual edits (can't make individual edits in Easel) them import into your favourite CAD/CAM app to create toolpath.NC files
I have lost a bunch of files, and you know what really chaps my behind is “your project is out of date, make a copy now.” Then when it “makes a copy” it only copies a few and deletes the rest.

Thank you very much. UA-cam looks at "likes" and time watched also. When I quit asking in the video, the rating just dropped. I can see it in the graph almost immediately. It also takes longer to get it back.

Thought I lost them all last night as I forgot where the computer saves them and couldn't find them when I tried to use my ugs. Talk about panic lol. Hope you get ur 100k. That's by b day. I don't care for Easel at all. I use UGS universal g-code sender. I have the same machine as you. Easel is not free for a lot of things that UGS already does for free and is more stable, And you don't have to have an internet connection to use it. I love your videos and thanks for sharing!
Everything you said is correct. Many people are concerned about their files being on Easel only. What happens if they lose Pro version, no VCarve unless they pay. I am showing those Easel users how to protect their work and continue to use their files after Pro expires and they chose not to renew.
With over 45 million youtubers, it is hard to get noticed. Subscribers, Likes and Shares are critical. Next is time watching the video. That is very important also.

What is the technique for opening a file in Easel say a flag, add designs (military branch) to it but not change the original flag design so you can use the basic flag for other projects?
Shame Easel doesn't let you name each work area within a project file, then compress each file to a specific name rather than compressing them all as DESIGN.SVG within a zip file

I did not know about that one. I have tried others but none so far are compatible with imovies. I edit all my videos in imovies on my Ipad. Thank you very much.
How do you do that? Would be helpful when recording my videos as well then I'd just have to figure out how to do voice over as I'm not very good with this computer stuff.
@@PawPawsWorkShop oo ok. I just use my laptop for it all but i didn't know how to do the voice over stuff or screen record. Got time to play with it some now. My router blew a bearing out gotta wait for parts to get started again

Has Easel done away with File dropdown menu? I haven't used it for awhile and there isn't a file drop down now, On mine anyway. Thanks

But ugs is just the gcode sender not design or cam software
Correct, I use VCarve Pro to design and create the g code.

Simply add a another workpiece and put the flag on the new workpiece add whatever you wish. The original workpiece is untouched.
It would be nice if u could download the easels gcode to use in a different grbl sender
I can do that. First, I will carve this sign using the VCarve Pro and UGS. I want to save many of the files in easel onto my computer.
Just export the project as gcode, then load it into your sender.

I upload all the video from the camera to the ipad and use imovies to edit. Voice over is easy, just hit the microphone button and then record.
