My boyfriend and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We went through a lot of videos but no one has the solution. We found your video and bam! Thank you again!!! Much respect!!
Life saver bro. Found the info in my manual, bottom of pg 45/top of pg 46. For any Audi owners, if you're able to access your User Manual, check the index/glossary in the back of the manual for "Trunk" and it'll give the pages that give you trunk information. One of those pages should have your emergency/manual release info, unless you have a very expensive or all electric vehicle and they want to get more money out of you lol. Saved me a 300+ dealer trip + tow.
Thank you sooooo very much for making this video. We were so lost and frustrated that we couldn't find out how to get this trunk open. You made my day with this video!
Brotha you just saved my life with this video!!! The "other one" out there didn't address the type of, A4 WITHOUT the seat pull. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Thank you for the vid, saved me. Just advice for those doing it. Don't just yank the seat, there are clips that need to be pressed in so it will release.
Good lord, i'm in South Africa and i have a 2014, A4 TDI, I've been in this situation and was wondering how to access the boot, the only way was to jump the car from the from the front +- ports or poles. So as to get a little Power to open the trunk. This is the best way if the battery is absolutely dead. Thank you Sir. 🙏🏽
And then you break the plastic clips holding the seat in place. Well done Audi. Couldn't do a normal pull cord... Or an access hole like most normal manufacturers...
I have the same issue on my 2011 Audi A5 Quattro S Line ...One would think there would be a keyhole to manually open the trunk my trunk button even when car was started wasnt working i was reading online about a valet button located in the glove compartment which i found but ill try when i can get this battery in trunk replaced ..will post an update later
Thank you soooo much i have a 2016 model and similar problem, they have however allowed back seats to fold down but there is no cable pull under the back seat must be something else so the search goes on.
If you have a 2011 A4 B8 then it does. They're held in by some tension, so you'll hear them 'pop' when you pull on the seat far enough. Couldn't tell you if you don't have the same model though.
Just had to do it, don't freak out when a little of the rubber tubing comes with. Thought I fucked it but I pulled a bit more (at an angle, towards the passenger -front seat sort of) and it popped open.

That’s another way to do it also, but if no juice then the back seat is the way to go…
@@MaurincePierreorlandorealtor yes Sir🙏🏽
Thank you soooo much! I was going crazy about to buy a crowbar and break into my trunk 😂 you’re a life and money saver! Lol
@@user-nx2st5re2e glad I saved you from a major renovation of your trunk. 😂
Thank you very much. Your video saved me. I have a 2012 Audi A4 and a dead battery and didn't know how I was supposed to get in the truck.
Glad this helped you.
Have the electronic front seat fully reclined, blocking access to the rear seat latch. Great engineering.

Thank you
You are welcome
Thankyou so much
Brother I applaud your thinking but there is a way easier way to do this
If you don’t have the wire that pulls the trunk?
Not sure how the other models work but the 2011 has the wire. I can imagine not having a device to help open the trunk.
Is this a option for every 2011 A4?
audi a4 2013 tdi 2.0 ? same way to open trunk ?
Yes but it's a lever covered in cloth. I've got the same car as yours in South Africa, its the same TDi even if its 2014.
Hero 🎉
We can't seem to find the cable please help us
Thanks for the video but my seats don’t pop up
If you have a 2011 A4 B8 then it does. They're held in by some tension, so you'll hear them 'pop' when you pull on the seat far enough. Couldn't tell you if you don't have the same model though.
Wow
thanks.
The quicker way would be to jump the engine!!!!!!
That’s an option, but assuming you cannot, then manually will have to do.
My cords not pulling
I found that the first time I located the cord it was a bit tough, but pulling hard and at angle did the trick for me.
Just had to do it, don't freak out when a little of the rubber tubing comes with. Thought I fucked it but I pulled a bit more (at an angle, towards the passenger -front seat sort of) and it popped open.
So many thanks!
