    Looks like your patrol (like many out there) is missing it’s air dam. You should get one and fit it, as it’ll help to promote more air flow thru your radiator. Especially helpful considering the heat contribution from the FMIC.
    I also blocked off my bonnet scoop too, to help create a negative pressure environment in the engine bay, and draw as much air thru the front cores as possible.

    I really want to get a front mount but I don’t no if it’ll fit with my kings winch and I’m not gonna sacrifice my winch for a front mount. That winch has saved my ass heaps.

      Yea it’s a hard trade off! If your engine temps aren’t too bad then might be all good!

      Awesome, started on it today, was having trouble with cold side, how did you go getting the pipe on the cold side (driver side)?

    Another great video. Looking forward to the results. There still seems to be a little room there to fit a winch. What do you think? Do you think you'd be able to install a winch in your current setup?

    • @jasereynolds_
      @jasereynolds_  Рік тому

      Yeah there isn’t much room now, but if you get a small enough winch you should be alright!

    Looks good.
    How hard will the oil filter be to change out now that the hot side pipes are taking up a bit of the space?

    • @jasereynolds_
      @jasereynolds_  Рік тому +1

      Not too sure mate! But to be fair, the pipe from the turbo was the easiest in terms of the install, can’t imagine it would be hard to remove if needed

    Hey Jase,
    How did you manage to keep the holesaw steady without bouncing all over the place?
    Cant use the pilot drill bit since its an open hole

      @@DanielPhungg hey mate! I went slightly to the side of the open hole so that the pilot drill bit could make it steady 🤙

      Cheers Jase,
      Finished this today, ended up using a trick with a smaller holesaw to go inside the stock holes as a guide, stacking your larger holesaw outside
      FYI for others - drivers 48mm, passenger 35mm for the smaller holesaws. Ontop of your larger 95mm on an arbor

    I noticed you dont have a fan in front of the radiator,and do you know if they have an option for vehicles with a winch ?

      Hey mate, you mean if there’s enough space to fit both a fan and winch? I’m not sure unfortunately but it would be tight I reckon!

    How do you go changing the oil filter?

      Not too hard with this new set up I imagine! Somewhat similar to normal, might need to move one of the pipes temporarily but you should be sweet👍
