[Kingdom Hearts] AMV Animatic - Waving Through a Window from Dear Evan Hansen

I don't own any of the characters, which are owned by Disney, or the song, which is "Waving Through A Window" from the musical Dear Evan Hansen
Here's my latest animatic, featuring everyone's favorite nobody: Roxas! I had a lot of fun making this animatic, as I got to play around more with a character grounded in an environment.

I never thought about how Roxas felt while he was waiting in Sora's heart before fighting him in KH2. I know he was resigned to his fate at the end of 358/2 days but then he sat in Sora's heart for months until Sora got to The World That Never Was.

I love how you use the visuals from the beginning of KH3 to stage the various memories and show Roxas rejecting Sora's memories. He wants his own story not Sora's leftovers and you represented that really well.

And here we have yet another reason to let Jesse sing in the next KH game. (Wether it's as Roxas or Ven, it doesn't matter! Let the only dedicated singer in the cast go ham!)

I stumbled upon this by chance and I have to say that I love this! I've just stumbled across the DEH album, so I'm happy that I recognized the song! It's truly amazing! I love the different angles and the expressions and just... everything! This definitely deserves more attention!

well that will get you right in the heart. Roxas stuck alone in the depths of Sora's heart, being able to see his interactions and memories but never able to communicate or make himself heard. Hopefully he at leat had Ven for company at some point!

My friend recommended this to me and I understand why. This has quickly become one of my favorite animatics ever!
First off, I didn’t really know how the song would fit Roxas’s character but you gave the song a whole ‘nother meaning and I applaud you for that. The staging, the motion, and the expressions are also very powerful at conveying his relationships. This truly is a masterpiece 😭
