Why is she in the dark? Listening her over your series, my next stock is going to be one of hers.

There is a huge benefit to hinged floorplate
If you do any timber hunting or tracking on snow thats ware we carry the rifle. The balance point is ware we hold the rifle picking through thick brush. Trust me get in the east ware its thick you dont want all them rounds n weight and its big mag hanging out os pointless

I hunt in the east with a tikka and the tikka mag makes it a non issue , it’s rounded and almost flush.
I personally prefer my balance point around the front screw anyway instead of directly under the bdl.
But I don’t prefer the large aics mags for sound and for carrying as you mentioned. My rokstok will be a tikka though because I sold all my 700 pattern stuff and convertedn

@@J_Un1tTikka are great . Not my choice as I despise mag fed rifles for chasing whitetail in the east timber. I went w a weatherby weather guard bronze in 308. That's a rifle made to hunt ! Full length Glass bedded the action and free floated the barrel. Shoots nosler ballastic tips into half moa and partition into 5/8

@@REDNECKROOTS yeah we all have our preferences, I vastly prefer tikka to any bolt system I’ve used

@@J_Un1t to each there own I guess but. a rifle w the balance point at the action screw isn't properly balanced. A properly balanced rifle that will point the most natural should have the balance point 4-6 inches in front of the trigger . It's just the way it is . Once ya have a rifle that balances in the correct way you will never understand how ya hunted with anything else.

@@J_Un1t absolutely tikas r superior actions as far as feel and smoothness goes. Tolerance are tight too. I just don't like the way they feel in my hands. Always something that feels off when I hold them. Think it's that low comb. I need a med high comb
