It was truly my pleasure to help you! I had a lot of fun putting everything together for you. My GPS had me take an entirely different forest service road back to the cabin and I tell you what, *that* was an adventure 😂. I’m so glad you were able to finish this section!
My guess is the Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT). Or maybe I’m just hoping for more content on that trail. It’s one I want to do myself personally (so selfish I know). 😅
Morning, Juliane. Nice views today. That last one, especially. You were really booking it today. Great mileage. Lady, you're a badass hiker. I admire you a lot. I love the way you're able to do what you need to do to accomplish your goal. Your goal was to have a continuous footpath from Mexico to Canada. Therefore you are taking the steps you need to take in order to have that. I love it. Hope you will re-introduce us to Geezer on the ride tomorrow. It will be a short hiking day on top of a longer drive. Enjoy Trout Lake. Sounds like a perfect place to me - especially if they have a lake with some trout in it for me to catch, clean, coo, and eat. Love me some fresh-caught trout. Lol. Take care. Stay safe. See you tomorrow.
I’ve been following you since you started your hike. Congrats on your thru hike! 🎉🎉 I truly loved watching your journey. It gave me an idea of how the trail is gonna look like. Obviously, weather plays a factor. My husband and I are planning on doing the PCT in four years. He plans to retire early in 2028. We will both be 56 when we do our hike. In the mean time, I will be following you. Stay safe. Happy Trails!!!
Florida trail I think lol. By the way congratulations I’m so glad you got to keep a continuous footpath. That’s so awesome 🎉🎉. I enjoyed watching you complete two through hikes now 👍😊. It has been a pleasure watching you hike these thru hikes congratulations again
My guess is the Uintah Highline Trail in Utah. It's roughly 100-ish miles. That is my first goal of a thru hike. I had Lumbar Surgery in December of last year and I'm a fall risk, therefore, i have fallen several times since then. I'm still in Physical Therapy for it. I still hurt and I now have a more prominent right leg limp. But I'm working on hitting the trails asap? If you are in Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, or Arizona, let me know and I'll provide you with some trail magic. It can even be for several days of trail magic! Thanks! Great job on connecting footsteps for a continuous footpath!!! Well done! - Shybee
I love these "connecting" videos! I would also feel so weird to leave a few small parts not done. Like.. comically ridiculous to go thousands of miles... except that handful over there and there... LOL no. Not my personality either.
LOVE LOVE LOVE following you!! Congrats on all but the 1.4! I too think it’s so cool that you will finish exactly where you were forced off trail. PS: I think you might do the OTL/ Ocean to Lake Trail in Florida. We did that a few years ago. So cool! SO different from the PNW!
Hi again. Still hangin with you and loving every moment. Topic for you. As I watch through your foot shots I noticed your shoes changing every so often. At first I thought maybe it was because they were being worn out. Then I thought, well she’s changing them based on temperature and trail conditions. If you get the time could you expand on this? Curious what you are wearing, how did they wear and why did you choose them.
My best guess: West Highland Way. Must fly. Definitely rainy this time of year. Season closes quickly. You've chosen the 6-day itinerary. It's different because you'll stay in facilities along the way and not carry as much gear. It's a nice stroll for you now and not a major challenge. Of course, I'm probably wrong. But you're not doing the Wonderland Trail around Mt Rainier, no flight needed. You're not doing the Timberline Trail, too short and, again, no flight needed (let me know if you want to hike this, I'm up for it as a two-day/40-miles, I've done it a few times). The West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island is a maybe, but that would entail flying to Florida and back for your passport. Pinhoti, Long Trail, etc., are possibilities. Maybe Pinhoti to Florida Trail so you can hike home? Whatever, I'm excited for your next adventure!
I’m guessing The Long Trail, since you don’t have a passport to go to BC, and there’s no rain in the Fall in AZ, but I bet there is in Vermont 🌧️ Since you’re from FL, I assume you’re used to their rain. So I’m sticking with my guess. I love your videos Julianne.
Only 1.4 miles left! Yea, that’s like 15 minutes for you :) But it shows you are true to your statement you would have a continuous footpath. Looking forward to the next hike…fall, rainy and in the USA? Has to be in the Northern States maybe the upper Midwest?
Well it looks like southern part of trail is messed up with Fire. My friend Puddles that you met. May be coming home at end of Sierras and have to come back next year to finish. This trail is getting harder and harder to thru hike or do a continuous foot path. This year might be the last one this was possible.😢
I am confused you kept mentioning Somewhere went this way? I thought she went to Maine for the AT? After you split after finishing did she go back here???? Curious. Good luck
I was referring to when she originally self-rerouted around the fire. She hiked out half a day before me which allowed her to hike what I was making up in this video.
I’ve been following you for awhile and I marvel at your 30 miles days. You make it look so easy! Then…. 30 mi in 10 hours! Holy Moly! You’re bookin’ it! Happy for you to connect your footsteps. Love your dialogue and also your appreciation for your amazing TA’s. You’ve been blessed! ❤
"Thru-hiking" connects an uninterrupted footpath from beginning to end and can include forward-moving re-routes. Why do people fight about it? If it's not that, it is not a thru-hike. So, what? "Hike your own hike" means do what is right for you. It doesn't redefine "thru-hike". Sigh.
Sorry, but if you take it that seriously, technically absolutely no one has completed a complete thru-hike of the official PCT within more than a decade. That is, if you respect the law since there is a section closed because of endangered frogs. Some sources say it has been closed since 2005. There is a reroute on the road (which sometimes is closed to cars) but also there is trail, all that was left in recent years was the construction of a bridge. However, the Trek for example suggest to take less zeros in the dessert so you can make it before winter hits you up north. In recent years I guess it was more to find a balance between snow in the Sierras but still being at the border asap or before the fires.
a most pedantic definition of a thru hike that no one who actually hikes the PCT would agree with. official reroutes are official, you don’t lose thru hiker status by hiking an official reroute, or fire alternate, or even blue blaze. people care less about hiking 100.00% of the red line versus maintaining a continuous footpath.
@@omgBort who decides what’s an “official” reroute? The PCTA? Well, who makes THEM the one and only ‘official’ master of the universe to determine the definition of words, and what counts as ‘the’ pacific crest trail or a ‘successful’ ‘thru hike’? You live in a fantasy land where Moses came down from the mountain with the authority of God to dictate to all us mere mortals what is and isn’t the ‘official’ trail. THERE IS NO TRAIL. The whole planet earth is a trail. And anybody can name anything any ‘official’ trail they want, and according to that standard, the PCTA is NOT the ‘official’ trial, but an imposter. So both you and the original poster are making the same mistake of thinking there is an actual bona fide truth or fact to the matter. NO, there isn’t. There is no trail, just bs names people give to pieces of earth, and then people like you two fight over which is the right way to call these bs pieces of land and what’s ‘official’ or not. Who cares about ‘hiker status’? Who gives this ‘status’ and how can somebody ‘lose’ it? You are like children playing make believe and announcing themselves kings and queens. They are as much kings and queens as that dopey old fart in Buckingham Palace. If enough people buy into the make believe, it doesn’t became any more real. It’s still make believe. You’re living in a fantasy world.
If a man can become a woman by changing his pronouns, then anybody can self-identify as a ‘thru hiker’. Heck, i thru hiked the PCT b/c I was along for the ride with all of RR’s videos. My pronouns are thru/hiker.
dumbest thing i have read in a while. yes, congratulations on completing a PCT thru hike by watching someone else do it on youtube, your certificate of completion is in the mail. it’s not about hiking thousands of miles, it’s about how you choose to identify because that’s what some trans people do.
@@omgBort thank you! I worked really hard getting up and off the couch. I had to resupply by trekking all the way to my kitchen. I got trail magic every and now then from the pizza delivery guy. And had to use a Bearvault to prevent the dog from eating my scraps. I had rough nights setting up camp in my bedroom. It was very emotional when i finished the trail, thinking of the ups and the downs, the highs and the lows, the good times and the bad. Thank you so much for all your support!!! Thru/hiker!
You are paying it forward. I’m so happy it’s all working out. You really need to do a life update because you’re obviously not working, at this point 😂. Congratulations. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️

Somewhere is a legend. She needs a channel.
The Long Trail VT.
Congratulation! I'm looking forward to following you on your next adventure.
30 in 10 is pretty fast! Great job! You're almost there!! Congratulations. :)
Given the season, I'm guessing it's the Arizona Trail
Congrats on your continuous foot path! While you're in SF, go to Palace of Legion of Honor and see the Rodin sculptures!!
My guess is the Long Trail. (I'm actually going to be doing trail work there next weekend.)
You feel more alive and free on a thru hike. It shows in your smile and your voice sounds so happy. Congrats on doing 30 miles in 10 hours🎉
🥾🥾🥾
Oh, I forgot to say "what a beautiful voice" the other day!
I appreciate your integrity 💯
Your excitement is contagious ! You are so close. We are cheering you on to completion. Yes, Road Runner you are a thru-hiker of the PCT !!!
Thank you for allowing us to come along on your journey ❤. Congratulations on completing your hike! 🎉🎉
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and your journey.
You almost got it. I’m excited for you.
You are a thru-hiker and a trail angel! You're gettin it! Woo Hoo!
I love being a trail angel. I live vicariously through my hiking friends.
Gratitude to Olivia. Love and Light to you and all your Trail Angels. I would like to explore helping PCT Thru Hikers around Ashland in future years…
Gloria Mall
Congrats on making up those 30 miles.
Olivia is a Gold Star TA❤
CDT, LETS GO!
Colorado trail? I heard it’s beautiful… if it’s not that one maybe you should consider doing it one day.
My guess is the Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT). Or maybe I’m just hoping for more content on that trail. It’s one I want to do myself personally (so selfish I know). 😅
Did you get those pants? Lol. weather is a changin'. Card in your inbox.
Pacific Northwest Trail!! Congratulations on your continuous footpath and PCT thru hike!!!!! I can't wait for more!
Rainy makes be think it's the Pacific Northwest Trail. Either that or the Oregon Coast Trail.

We love your channel and are so happy we got to come along with you on the PCT. Are you doing the Florida Trail next???!!
Congratulations‼️ I appreciate your dedication.
I also appreciate that you sang for us a couple of videos ago. I always enjoy it when you sing.
i'm so proud of you, and happy for you. not just the mileage, which is a feat in and of itself. but for your reflection and personal growth. you rock!
Congratulations 🎈awesome job 30 miles in ten hours 🎉
So great to see your super excitement at end of Section 2!!!

I’ve no idea where you will be hiking next, but I’ll be there😊
Wow! Trail Angels are called that for a reason I guess. So fantastic that you are being a Trail Angel yourself. Paying it forward.
Way to go! Connecting those footsteps and getting closer to your goal
Tell Geezer to give me a shout if he needs help in Dunsmuir, Mt. Shasta.

Yay another video from RR! 🥰🥾🥾⛺️🌸

Congratulations only 1.4 miles and you are done. Can’t wait to hear about your new hike. Do you think you will ever do the Florida trail?
Pacific Northwest National Scenic Trail or the AZ trail :)
Have you hiked the Oregon coast?
Arizona trail
You do you for your hike and your life! We are excited that you have another thru hike! Curious where?
Wonderland trail?
Is your next adventure the Long Trail in Vermont?
Pinhoti trail that connects the AT to the Florida Trail
Colorado Trail?
The LT TRAIL in Vermont. Figured this one because it's near your mother.😊
I’m guessing The Long Trail, since you don’t have a passport to go to BC, and there’s no rain in the Fall in AZ, but I bet there is in Vermont 🌧️

The Florida Trail has to be done in the winter. It's way too hot in Florida this time of the year.

Oregon coast highway ?
Pinhoti Trail? 😊
I’m going to say your next through hike will be the Tahoe rim trail.
RR has done that one already, I am hoping for the AZT.

This may sound crazy but what state are you in? I’m getting confused 😅
I’m confused too but seemed like Washington with a view of Mt Rainier???? Oh but looked more like Oregon and the Diamond Lake fire was in Oregon
Washington - southern portion of the PCT

Did you carry all your gear with you instead leaving some stuff in the car?
My guess is that you're going to hike the Arizona trail.
It seems you’re in your element when you’re hiking. You should hike in the land of the caribou. Canada or Alaska. How about brooks range Alaska
What is that in the road at 19:41?
a person sitting on their backpack?
