Very well designed base. In my opinion, you move around (jumping, gliding, and rotating the camera) far to much and it makes your video nauseating and difficult to watch.
Vamperic also allows pals to stay awake at night, with the added affect to drain hp. Useless info in your case, ii know, but for those who want to run the fade with raiders.

I found it really hard to actually look around at your base because of the aggravatingly frantic way you jumped around, moved the camera around and randomly opened menus. Do you plan on doing a more CALM tour of this base? I really like how you structured it and I wanna try to replicate it in a different area.
i was going to but its kinda hard to go 1 for one. i got palbox in middle. go 8 out on each side. then you make a circle like area. with the outer sides going 6 across. then keep going up

DON'T build stairs...(make sure stairs are 2 wide) ***skip to step 6 IF your stairs aren't gonna be on edge of diameter.*** 5) BUILD WALL WHERE YOU WANT STAIRS 6) build.stairs *** don't destroy two stairs side by side or ELSE everything up top comes crumbling down.*** 7)build next level with floot roof 8)Start back at 4 or 6, depending on your stairs location.
I believe that ceiling that you thought you saw only really matters in a multiplayer setting. I never tried it myself in multiplayer, but ~6 months ago when I played this game heavily, I made a VERY tall base and it all counted as being within the base, despite that ceiling that made me think otherwise. Maybe Pals don’t bother tracking past that point, not sure! But it all does count as being within your base still, I had Viewing Cages past that point with my Tower Bosses back when that bug was a thing lol.
It is a bad idea indeed. The pals eventually can't reach the two in the middle and that's where the starving /problems begin when you have 15 or more large pals on base. If you stack just stack two for consistency and reliability
Like how did you get that much Hexolite Metal to make all those storage boxes?? I look and look for the resources needed and never find any.. even with a pet Smokey hey!!
You can find chromite in caves and dungeons on Feybreak island. Most caves have 4 chromite nodes, and dungeons can have over 5 nodes, i got 1000+ chromite from a single dungeon.
OK, I finally built the tower in my own world. I am not on Faybreak yet, so I built it on the beach by Penking's circle. And since I don't have a lot of Paldium, nor do I have the Japanese style yet, I built it out of stone walls and regular wood floors, and will replace them later as I get the material. Now for the issue: My pals can't seem to grasp the concept of using the wide-open stairs. None of them seem able of moving between floors, and it causes a lot of Fixed Assignment cancellations and teleporting to the Pal Box (Which is on the bottom floor, further exacerbating the issue). Have you found any ways of fixing this?
wish i knew how you managed this just spent all day building something similar and none of my pals even want to move off the ground floor i actually give up its so frustrating but very nice base and idea, and good job you put a slower version out :)

I just watched your new video and it's way more enjoyable to watch compared to what you did in this video. Like your movement gliding while zooming, spinning just to close your door is just unnecessary in my opinion. How do you only have 1 Generator for this Base? I have 3 running at my main and I still find it difficult to maintain power levels for all the end-game facilities. Each of my Generators have 2 Orserk running them.
are they condensed max and have remarkable craftsmanship, artisan, workslave and vampiric? did you also ranked up its working speed? if so, you only need one generator, 1 accumulator and 1 orserk/azurmane to run your whole base. If not, u atleast need 2 max condensed orserk/azurmane with pretty decent passives. Dont forget the upgrades from pal lab as well :)
Looks nice but imo only the bottom part with the storage chests. The rest (too me) would be too ineffective. I also once tried fitting everything in one base just to find out its a jag of all trades but a master of none. This is why I run 4 fully maxed out bases: Crafting/mining, food, cake ingredients, breeding tower. That way I can fit 50 pals in each base maximizing my productivity 😂
A lot of my stuff I have as dedicated but I like having 1 generalist. Also not everyone has tons of bases available. I've got a money, breeding, and hexolite, and crude oil base just for that.
@der_heftige_Harald there is a location with 3 hexolite nodes which is great for passive farming. I don't remember the coords since not at computer but will probably have a video on it tonight
The general way of leveling is catching pals you haven't caught 12+ of for those extra XP boosts. It's been a long time since I've had to level. You can also adjust your XP amount if playing on your own world.
@@ancient_rune There is flying raid too. Beside you can't really make this base without mods, there is limit how much you can build without wall or pillar support next to it, so in real game at least half of you base will be stuck with pillars or internal walls.
@Biomanable you actually can build this base without pillars and it not be modded. I'm currently building a base like this. Only have a second floor so far. About to get the third floor going. But I have no pillars in use. And I'm not much of a mod fan. Mostly cause I don't actually know how to use mods.
@MMDAnimatrix the only mods I've ever used is pal editor because I dislike the breeding process. Anything else I don't want to mess with in an early access game and already constantly backing up saves
This is nice and all, but I have an issue with the filming itself. Please stop with the constant mouse movement and camera shake. I understand that it's something you don't really think of, but it makes the video worse since the viewer is trying to focus on what's on the screen and you're just spinning around and shaking the screen...

seconded! i'm not prone to motion sickness, but it's not pleasant. smooth mouse handling makes gaming content SO much nicer on the eyes.

just a tip to max farms for ingredients you can stack the farm plots using benches so you can have 4 plots in one square maximizing space

I thinking of use prunelias on base placing my lyleens... I know is lvl3 plantation but comes more food
i think its definitely possible to even out. especially once you get those books that increase skills it is probably just better.
My base is on the shelf you filmed from, there is a hexolyte node, tons of eggs, mushroom trees for various things and is unraidable.

I didn't check since thefirst raid's update (Bellanoire one), but until that time, the ranch animals didn't scale with work speed.

Yeah i think it says it heals and lets them sleep. I saw Frostallion sleep in it so I assume it works with any size pal.

How do you keep your Astegon from getting sick after working for a long time
You feed astegons with better food and build hot springs for better SAN recovery. Usually I cook them salad.
