Amen on the sketchy weather in May. We were there mid-May and for the first week it felt like the country was actively trying to blow us into the ocean (yellow warnings).
I tried to get to this lighthouse but it was in December and the entire route was covered in snow and dark! What drone / camera do you use for your footage? Thanks!
Yes I can certainly believe that it would be difficult driving in winter. I went in May and the trail was in good condition. I use a DJI Air2S for my drone footage and I use a Sony Xperia Pro-i smartphone for all other footage. I also have an Insta360 X3, which I've used in some newer videos. Hope that helps!
Relatively easy so long as you have a 4x4. I drove there in a Jeep Renegade and had no problems. Keep an eye on the weather before you go because if it's been rainy there might be some muddy or flooded areas that could be tricky if you've never been in these conditions before.

Yeah those yellow alerts were no joke! They were hopefully the last big storms before summer.
