I did a virago cafe years ago before it was like crazy thing, had the kz tank and floating seat that looked like I was sitting on air. For shift link. Heim joint on threaded rod. Then find carbon fiber tubing used on rc drones that fit over the rod nicely. I forget the size but the rod I had fit right into the CF tube. Then I adjusted the link and marked it and cut down the cf perfectly so I had no gap and my links was on the dot. Really looked custom and had a lot of bikers chase me down and ask what it was. A lot of good conversation. Regret selling it but plan on buying two more to do a cafe on like how moose did it with there twin set up For me and the wife
you do the clutch adjustment with the screw and the nut in the centre of the pully- you can never really get the felling for the clutch disengagement until you have it running and sitting on it :0
dream build man yamaha xv with r1 front end but getting the bike in ireland is difficult and even harder to get the front end without buying a whole r1
Nice job with the custom pieces! Do you have any suggestion what i can do for my clutch cable level thread housing if i dont have all the machinery to fab a longer thread like you did?
Great videos! I’m having the same issue with the clutch using R6 controls with my front end swap on my XV. Any advice on how to fix it? I don’t have access to the tools or equipment you’re using.
I'm not from an English-speaking country, so there are parts I don't understand. If I switch to his wheels, will the center of the car and the center of the tires stay the same? Will the tires get wider? Doesn't that matter?
The rear wheel I am using you need a specific swingarm to fit a wider tire. Everything about the front geometry is changed by changing these forks. It will ride much different than when it was original.
Masterpiece, everything you do is just pure engineering 👏🏻
Been watching the progress. Great work. Can't wait to see more. Thanks for making the videos and sharing your progress!
when clutches are dry sometimes they don't slip nice.

So I just need a lathe, a press brake and a TIG welder and I can build a virago. Excellent
Any chance episode 5 is still happening&build continuing? Still waiting, hoping
Waiting for episode 5
