Looking at training Andrade takes his defense more seriously than David.. Benavidez seems to be going thru the motions when it comes to defense where Andrade thinks about his defense.. Im stoked! Better than that shit show fight of Garcia vs Davis. Canelo can't duck Benavidez if he wins. On top of that Canelo talked mad shit to Andrade so I want both these dudes to TKO or get the decision against Saul in the near future. Andrade has way better footwork & defense for angled shots, meanwhile Canelo and David are looking to wear there opponents down to TKO or ko them.

Benavidez cuts too much weight, that power will be much better when he moves up. Still, it's just a matter of time for his cardio to also diminish. He's taking some big risks by staying at 168 even at this moment

He keeps cutting weight like he’s doing, he’s gonna be to drained to perform and it’s lights out!!!
Power doesn’t diminish because of weight cutting. Stamina and punch resistance do. David isn’t gonna punch harder at a higher weight. But his body will feel better the less he has to cut.
Think of it like this, imagine that you’re starving, stomach is growling, you have a headache, you’re thirsty as hell, & you have to do an hour long intense workout. You’re not gonna feel as good as you would if you had a good meal and adequate hydration. This is coming from a former fighter. I used to cut crazy weight when I was younger. But as I got older and naturally bigger, I moved up and cut less. I don’t believe that i suddenly hit harder with less weight cut. But i did feel physically stronger. Less tired and just fuller if that makes sense

I get that Jose’s leg is an issue & impedes his movement but I can’t understand why they haven’t worked on improving his upper body and head movement. If you can’t move your legs you would think he’d be forced to work on having some of the slickest head and torso movement out there. Doesn’t seem to be the case.
They need to find a more experienced trainer, there dad got them as far as he could but they need to learn some tricks from some veterans in the sport like teddy atlas or maybe even jeff mayweather shit even manny Robles would be a good choice just someone with more experience

The thing abt the Benavides is that they train power punches and combos but half the times everything in the gym goes away they do something different in the fight and they don’t practice much defense
That’s the Mexican style to the fullest, may not be the best style but it sure is fun to watch
