One of the weirdly underappreciated Norwegian bands; most everyone just uses Gaahl and KoH as a meme. Antichrist and Pentagram are some of my favourite black metal albums from the 90s.
In general I’m not really a black metal fan but I’ve listened to more Gorgoroth than pretty much any other band ever. Other than some music from like Burzum and Bathory I haven’t really found any other BM that balances grit and beauty like Gorgoroth does-I think that most of their discography is nothing short of genius. That being said, I’ve met quite a few BM fans and I’m kind of disappointed none of them were big into Gorgoroth.
Amazing work man, but it's a crime that you didn't include Funeral Procession, Krig and Open the Gates at the very list... with a special mention for Redux Malorum
Arrrrgh one has to love augmented and diminished 5ths ! Tamba is your friend ! But as much as I enjoy high bass reflex 6 strings I love to record with a trebled out 6,then 4 string mf the hums. I do my own drums therefore i never need to argue with unmusical drummers.

The riffs of the song Ødeleggelse og Undergang are underrated, I have never heard something so sinister and beautiful at the same time.
