Wow I can't remember the last time I saw a review for a HTPC case. Has to be at least 10 years.

Great testing! I was surprised to find out that the push air out from the front was that effective for the thermals.

You'll like this. My Grandia 11 setup: 9800X3D with Arctic Cooler Liquid Freezer 3, PUSH PULL with FOUR Arctic P12 Max as intake. Yes you can do push pull in this htpc case.
I fit a THIN NOCTUA 120mm fan as exhaust on the side near the power supply just like you did, the thin was required because of the radiator thickness in push pull.
2X NOCTUA redux 120 intake for the GPU cooling (4080 super).
2X NOCTUA redux 80mm for exhaust.
Yes there is way too much positive pressure with this setup UNLESS you tweak your fans properly. Set the three exhausts to run at maximum speed. Your intake fans need to be a around medium speed settings. Doing it this way creates a small positive pressure situation that works very well.
Pro tip, if you need more exhaust in the G11, flip your power supply and it will act as exhaust.
Lastly research silverstone FDP02, a 120mm fan that will attach to your PCI expansion slots OUTSIDE of the rear of your case.
Maybe you retest using these two added methods of exhaust ?
Great video ! I'm loving the case but yes they dropped the ball by not including a third 120 mm for the front.

You should try and get your hands on a Ceptagon CP-M1. Very unique case.

Interesting case, it seems that you could use dremel and cut the front panel a lot more to make it take 3 x 120mm fans. It's kind of weird to assume that HTPC can blow air to the sides because the HiFi equipment sizing comes from rack mounting and there you cannot assume any air on the sides. If I had been designing this case, it would have 3 x 120 mm or 3 x 140 mm fans on the front and design that moves as much air as possible through the whole case from front to back. That would allow for lowest possible fan speed for each individual fan which should help keeping noise down which is critical for HTPC use.
As an alternative, one nice design could be to have the whole front push air out and make the box stand on a little higher feet and take all intake air from under the box. That should work pretty well in a closed cabined (with only front open) because hot air should go upwards from the front allowing cool air to get in from the bottom.

I think Fractal North might be a better HTPC case if you mod it to have feet on the original side (now bottom). I don't know the dimensions of that case with the factory feet removed, though. The spec says 447 mm which should be pretty close to 440 mm with the feet removed.
However, Fractal North is much deeper case so if you don't have deep enough cabinet, that's not a real option.

Noctua NH-D12L is hands down the best CPU cooler for this case but unfortunately, it's pretty expensive one.

3:30 Actually, a large number of µATX boards have the x16 slot in the second position, so it is not sooo theoretical. An ATX board will fit in the case, but the case is designed for a µATX board.

SilverStone used to make much higher quality HTPC cases. I guess that tiny market has since become even smaller, and now we only get trash :/

why my comment was deleted ? use a SilverStone Fara R1. turn it to the side, glue some feeds to it and you get a better HTPC in all features. And yes, even 3x fans in the front

Are there any alternatives available? Looking for a HTPC case, this seems to be the only option. Don't want to use a sideways laying tower again like for the last HTPC build...

im from Peru, if I ever need a htpc case, yes, love Silverstone but I had no other way than bought it from Amazon.. and trust me, I had almost 2 htpc options available from Silverstone to be shiped from usa to peru with Amazon. and both are waaay too slim... so no, I don't agree with "there are plenty other options"... we need more cases like this. because the slim ones.. that only allow "LP cards" are very annoying and I don't like them.

please...deactivate "auto-translate video title" your video is in English, so keep it simple and make the title also in English. It irritates me every single time, reading the title in a weird translation, just to recognize: oh! the dude is talking in English! but why is the title in German? makes no sense at all. The content is entertaining and informative as always, no complaints.

definitely too similar with just a tower case, simply sit horizontal. Feels very low effort.
it would be more interesting to have a much slimmer design, eg : ITX build + SFX PSU + GPU sitting horizontal
imagine if that case is 50% of that height, or heck 33%, will be a lot more sleek and fit well around your TV,

Idk why Silverstone seems completely unable to make any half decent looking cases.
This one isn't even that horrible too look at, but most of their lineup looks like it's from 2008.

Does look cheap. I would configure those front two as exhaust. The rest as intake. I would also tear off those dust filters. People go way overboard worrying about dust. They impede airflow way too much vs actual dust so I ditch them every time.

They're certainly expensive but in the HTPC space, there's not a whole lot of other (read: ATX!!) options that can fit in an average entertainment center you'd have in a living room.
Take a look at their manuals and you'll find they're really well written to cover even niche use cases and different things you'll run into if you do use a server board (SSI-CEB)
