    Erratum:
    - Barracora is incorrectly labeled Barracuda in the sales graph
    - The original game's ramp is opaque black - clear red is also an aftermarket modification

Exceptional video with some history as well and a masterful demo game.

Nice video! I do exactly what you did on 20:17 haha - hold a pinball on a flipper and listen to the jackpot theme. That's my favorite part of the whole game is listening to that theme.

Ok Buddy.. Pull over! Great review for some nostalgia on this excellent pin from the era. That flashing red light when in pursuit caught the attention of arcade goers that something was happening..... brilliant idea .. was that a first maybe? Also some or most of the voices were from Steve Ritchie like most of his games.... Having owned Flash, Gorgar and Black Knight I was mysteriously drawn to his designs without knowing it till later in life. High Speed II was a great follow-up as well and got to play a few of those at the GSPB event this weekend for old time sake... Don't recall seeing this original High Speed at the event but might have missed it. Keep up the awesome video work.

I almost wanted to mention the sequel in my video - the person who lent me high speed has the sequel in his collection as well! But the video was already pretty full of other facts on the game, so the story of high speed 2 will have to wait until another video! Thanks for watching!

You made it look so easy. Very clear on rule explanation.

I liked the graph of the commercial success by title! Would love to see how that continued on into the 90s

Awesome!! Very glad it’s not just me nerding out on that. Only a matter of time until I do a 90’s game again and do an updated chart 😀 thanks for watching!

Very very good video! Looks like you got a new playfield? got this game for a few years and put a lot of work in it. maybe would buy it again if i got this in such a good condition :)
The right orbit shot doesnt always work by you, maybe correct the metal lanes? also the multiball plunge should always go into the locks, maybe you have to look at to align those lanes.
    Next Pin: f14!? :)

Thanks for the nice compliments! Yes, good eye with the right orbit - it's not perfect on this game, and so is the plunge. It's not my game and I didn't have it long enough to try to tweak it, but it does appear to be a side effect of the playfield swap - tricky to get it just right!! But it sure is a beautiful copy of the game, the nicest I have ever seen.

@@abpinball I'm 52 and High Speed is what got me interested in pinball and why I collect them today. My High Speed was restored sparing no expense - new stencils, powder coated side rails, lockdown bar, hardtop (no more repro playfields were available) as well as red and blue alternating LED displays. It will be the last machine to ever leave my gameroom. What a masterpiece!
