Hi Gabe, I've watched several of your about command and mailchimp. Thank you for all of this helpful info. I just wanted to ask a little more about unsubscribing. If I'm sending a newsletter thru mailchimp (with synced audience from Command)..., if they unsubscribe, how will that sync to command? Is there anything extra I need to do to make sure that person is unsubscribed in Command?
Hi Cindy. there's not currently a way to automate the Unsubscribes from Mailchimp back to KW Command. In general, most agents I've talked to, treat these two lists as two separate lists anyway. Mailchimp is for mass communication, and KW Command for One to One communication
If you create a field in Mailchimp called "Command Tags", you can then map the Tags field from Command to your newly created Command Tags field in Mailchimp.
Hey! Thanks for making this video. We are a Realtor team, so within Command we have different contacts. Then any time we send an email from Command it personalizes the email with which Realtor it is coming from. Is this still possible if you merge with MailChimp?
Hi Stephanie, Yeah, there's a few ways to do this. The simplest would be to set up a Mailchimp "Audience" for each of your Agents. You can then specify the FROM for all the emails sent from that audience
Having a hard time understanding the impact of the checkbox "do not overwrite information in KW command fields" shown at 3:05. What kind of information would be overwritten, and what would cause this overwriting to happen. where is the new information coming from?
Hey Steve, The KW Command and Mailchimp integration has two different worklflows. - One sends contacts from KW Command into Mailchimp - One sends Mailchimp subscribers into KW Command. In this video we demonstrate setting up and activating the KW Command into Mailchimp workflow as that is the most popular set up. If you add the second workflow to the integration and begin sending Mailchimp subscribers into KW Command, THAT is where that checkbox comes into play. And it basically will just assure that as subscribers are added from Mailchimp to KW Command, those records are just filling in blank spaces or adding new leads. For this integration it's unlikely to matter as Mailchimp usually only has name and email address, the box plays a bigger role when syncing contacts from another CRM into KW Command, or a contact manager like Google Contacts. Let me know if there are any other questions I can help out with

@@api.nation Awesome! Thank you. Where do I specify that I want to link the different lists from Command to Audiences in MailChimp?
Hey @API Nation - just following up on my previous question. Thanks!
