The Liverpool teams in 70s & the 80s were really exciting - Klopp brought some of that old magic back - He will be missed...
He only won 1 ucl and 1 premier league, he doesn’t even come close to shankly and paisley. He’s on the same level as rafa benitez who also won 1 ucl
@@drain_atorHe definitely would have at least 1-2 PL titles more if there hasn't been Man City. Compare Liverpool's amount of points with winners from 2000 until now.
@@dm_247 he wouldve had 4 more premier league titles if city didnt exist, not 1-2 look at all of the last 7 seasons
When man city get done for ffp. It’s going to be interesting.
Salah Mane and Firmino was one to the most exciting front lines in history. If you’re using the word “exciting” to rank them I think they’re top 5, and klopp built that
You can't beat MNF with these 3, don't get me wrong it is nice having a guest on every now and then but Jamie, Gary and Dave Will always be the best 3
The Three Muppeteers 😉
I didn't even know that guys name was Dave til I read this comment. You mean Carra and Nev basically?
@@darthpepe2994 That Was Exactly What I Thought When I See The Name 💯😂
Stop it
The thing I adore about Klopp is how he *always* played fearlessly against all opposition, especially Guardiola's all-conquering Manchester City. For that, he will always have my respect and admiration. Let alone his incredible trophy cabinet, CV, and overall football philosophy.
Incredible trophy cabinet 😂
@@chucky7826 3 League Titles, 1 European Cup, 1 World Club Cup, 1 European Super Cup and 4 Domestic Cups. All for clubs with limited budgets, one in a 1 team league, the other in a league dominated by a club doing it on cheat mode. Had he managed the clubs he was up against he'd have easily trebled that trophy count. What have you done better in life?
@@chucky7826 Most sensible thing you've done on here deleting that comment. Half his 25 year managerial career was spent at Mainz, a lower league club, who he got promoted, twice, and built to became a Bundesliga regular. To clubs like them that IS success, because they've achieved more than they ever had before. Again; what have you done better in life?
@darthpepe2994 well done genius he started at mainz, hang on I'll give you a medal. Did I say any different? Said don't know where you're getting "half his career at mainz" ,when he was as long at dortmund as mainz, and longer again at Liverpool, that might have been half in your remedial maths class and they gave you a gold star anyway, but it's nowhere near half. Maybe if you could actually read you wouldn't be so perplexed
@@chucky7826 So you're resorting to technicalities because you've lost the argument? He still spent a lot of his managerial career at Mainz, so when you say "25 years and only..." you're choosing to ignore that he wasn't competing for trophies at Mainz, who's goals are not to win trophies because realistically they can't. And again; Dortmund play in a one team league and have a much lesser budget than that one team, are they expected to win the league most years? Liverpool play in the hardest league in the world, a league they hadn't won in 30 years, he also had the lowest budget of all his big 6 rivals, including one with an unlimited budget. If he's such an overrated manager perhaps instead of focusing on my choice of words you name us all a manager who could have actually done better under those circumstances? Please, don't dodge; enlighten us all...
As a neutral the quality of Liverpool and Man city over the last few years has been incredible. Klopp will be missed
Wijnaldum at Liverpool doesn't get spoken about enough.
It's prime Henderson actually. Once his legs were gone the team went off.
@@Ajay-d Gini was a workhorse you need players like that to have a good attack and defence, the balance needs to come from somewhere.
Hendo is the same
There’s no CL without Gini
Yes you can watch liverpool matches and you will never get bored absolutely treat to watch win or lose entertainment should be first
No idea. I didnt watch shankly etc so i dont know ever but in the epl era he certainly is
Well Football didn't start when the EPL did kid, and you're not the Earth's main character. So forgive those of us who don't declare your righteous opinion as anything we should pay any attention to....
Neither did 90% of your fans so that’s alright
@@itsBATSMENnotBATTERS Most of the blokes I go to the match with saw Shankly's teams, and just because a percentage didn't see those teams that means they're not valid? I guess Fergie's, Wengers and Mourinho's teams can be erased from the conversation too then? Seeing as a generation of kids know them as ancient history also?
@@itsBATSMENnotBATTERS and they constitute how much of a Liverpool or Man Utd fanbase? Can't speak for the Southern clubs but up here fans have been here for generations. Even City can't even fill their stadium despite playing it on cheat mode.
@@darthpepe2994aye and he addressed that and stated in the epl era
Klopp was the best since Dalglish, but the most exciting thing is to win trophies.
Bob Paisley the best.
Why don’t they do a video on why Liverpools defence is so bad it’s tiring watching us concede so many goals
Neville saying this is unlike Salah against Everton. Is it really? For the past 8 months I’ve witnessed these dribbling performances, getting pocketed by unremarkable players. Guy permanently watches United games.
you've literally conceded the 3rd least goals of any team behind Arsenal and City. What are you talking about.
well today it was because of the endo mac allister switch.
for 75 mins mac allister had played really well and covered alot of ground.
then we take off endo and ask mac to play as the 6 while hes shattered and while villa are running at him trying to chase the game.
he was at fault for both goals the poor lad.
when i saw the subs warming up i thought he was going to get a rest.
instead he was dropped right into an important defensive role at the worst possible time.
big mistake from klopp.
but i dont care because hes given us everything and im gonna miss his grinning german chops.
@@MikeyysVlogs mate I’m talking in general our defence is poor , you have to watch our games to see it
@@MikeyysVlogs How many clean sheets though? I'm a Liverpool fan, I don't think we're as bad as we're made out to be... but there's still a problem there
For me klops team with heavy metal football is most entertaining football
No Bill Shankly is. Klopp has been a breath of fresh air. He has rebuilt the club and team and won everything and been competitive.
Rebuild?? 😂more like cheating back in the 20th century..yeah we know all about that 😂
Paisley was. He won 20 trophies in 9 seasons. Including 3 ucls
As bad as it sounds. It feels like this Liverpool team under-achieved
Hard to compete against city cheating and peps tactics
@@JK.47 hard to compete against flopp’s awful in game tactics and substitutions
@@JK.47It was also hard for other club to compete when Liverpool were cheating in the 70s and 80s
Wouldn't say 7 trophies in 8 years is an underachievement.
@@CodPatrol Yes awful. When he is literally in the top 99.9999% percentile of coaches around the world. But let's listen to this supporter of cheats.
his style was the most impressive thing.
results wise hes been well in line with what we expect from a Liverpool manager.
but he did it with lot of style and personality
Scrap transfer fees and buyout clauses. Replace it with buyout contracts for example if u got a player 5 year contract he has to commit to 3 years before a club can approach and buyout the player contract. If a player extends contract clubs cant approach to buyout the contract for another 2 years
Klopp has won 1 UCL, 1 Prem, 2 Bundesliga titles, 1 FA cup and been to 3 UCL finals..
If you think that's overrated, you need to be jailed for 5 years even for thinking that
And look at the teams he done it with. Liverpool team that he inherited was a joke. If klopp managed Bayern, Madrid or city he will be winning everything every season
And with a quarter of the budget of his rivals.
more important is the Rock'n'Roll, the almost child like Lust to entertain the terrace with the most spectakular football you can watch your team dishing out. A German becoming the real 5th Beatle, just with a bigger Portion of Lemmy Kilmister realness about him. My humble opinion.
100 percent the most overrated manger in premier League history! He gets away with it because he has a flamboyant character!
And a million energy drink cups 😂😂
I'd agree with Carra, I don't really care how 'exciting' my team is, I just want them to win. I'd much prefer and terribly boring 1-0 win instead of a very exciting 4-1 loss.
That style of winning discussion has been going on with Liverpool & Utd since the 60’s.
We should have won more. Our football deserved it.
But we were up against Oil City
Imagine if suarez was playing under klopp
He achieved more at Barça
@@eL--RaLif Klopp arrived at Liverpool earlier tho he could have achieved more with them maybe even a domestic title
And Gerrard?
@@eL--RaL Naturally, it's a glorified Scottish league with an even wealthier and more superior "Rangers and Celtic". I mean Real Madrid managers have been sacked even if they win the league over there, that's how much of an "achievement" it is to win stuff there...
@@eL--RaLthat’s because Barça were a better team than 2014-2017 liverpool 😂 liverpool were a mid table club
Been too open for a few years now
17-20 was the prime Jurgen Klopp football in Liverpool.
Klopp is great but shankly is the god of football in liverpool! 😮🔥🙌
Attacking teams win more matches and concede less goals.
Definitely. I wouldn't have wanted any other manager, still don't.
Klopp should have never adapted, heavy metal football was impossible to stop.
Sir Bobby Paisley.
Why are so many of the big problems in the PL not discussed on this show but this 'debate' is?
Because Skysports are indirectly working for the PL.
Because they're not activists and despite the problems in Football; most of us would like to hear some of the positives in the game too. If you want to spend your whole time as a Football fan complaining constantly I suggest you move to Newcastle, Leeds or somewhere near Goodison Park
Sorry no you got to give it to Avram Grant lol
Liverpool defensive game is garbage
He is not
Any excuse to kiss his backside ey sky?
No.
As a city fan. Klopp is my favourite number 2 hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Maybe arsenal could make it to my fav number 2 after this season

If Klopp did not say he was leaving, the fans would be asking him to leave. He’s lost his MOJO.
Not true at all, they overachieved this season, rebuild of the team isn't even complete yet
What’s exciting about bottling the league to City so many times and loosing 2 Champions league finals against Real

Exciting, lol 😂, yet one league title in 9years. Please like my comment so i can always come back to laugh at this.
1 league title 9 years
I’m not a Liverpool fan but come on

Outside of that 5th once
Then never outside the top 4 for 9 seasons you’ve gotta give some credit
@@Anonymous-bb8sf We are giving credit to him, but all these "it means more" or "best looking" or "best character" is non-football to some extent. He only won 1 pl in 9 years, and no matter how exciting they played, they only won 1.

One premier league trophy…
Against Man City 115. Name another Premier League manager who (fairly) acquired 95+ points on numerous occasions, reached 3 Champions League finals and still won 7 trophies in 8 seasons despite a low budget and having to compete against a team doing it on cheat mode?
which is more than every other team other than city in the last few years...
Not even Madrid or prime barca would’ve won 1 trophy in the premier league against city are you stupid
Exciting? Yes. But with Klopp there is always the inevitable failure. He was always that coach. Bridesmaid to Pep god knows how many times and 3 defeats in 4 european finals. The only final they did win was vs Spurs.
Give him an equal budget to Pep then and see who the bridesmaid is then. I mean you're speaking like Klopp had all the advantages in the world and kept failing, his net spend was pitiful compared to ALL his rivals and yet the only managers and teams to actually outdo him in Title races and UCL finals (Pep, Ancelotti, Bayern, City and Real Madrid) had the biggest budgets in football. Come back when you understand the word "context".

@@recruitmentch Give them an equal budget or better yet switch their budgets. I've never seen Pep have to punch up once in his whole managerial career, he's always operated with a massive advantage over everyone else he's competed against, and yet still been beaten/knocked out by Klopp on numerous occasions. And I'm sorry what Title race or UCL final where Sevilla in against Liverpool?

Glad hes leaving need a new manager new ideas yes hes won a title but hes not a legend one title in nearly 9 years says it all
1 league title in 30 years. That’s the same as Lillie, Leverkusen and Monaco have achieved in the last 30 years. Hardly an achievement.
