I have a plot twist. The Listener is actually the original yandere that kidnapped her and after she escaped he got kidnapped by another yandere and realized the error of his ways. But he still traumatized and sent to the clinic where he reunited with his first love who was still in the clinic from long ago. He regrets his actions but still loves her and she hadn’t fully recovered from her partial Stockholm Syndrome and the process restarted when he returned. This is probably not what’s going to happen but it’s fun to think about
