Best wishes to you and your hubby Yve. A few things I remember having a huge aversion to was raw meat, cooked lamb and coffee. With my first child I was still working and used to have a leather bag I used. Years later I couldn’t smell that bag without being in the throes of feeling unwell; had to donate it. I don’t recall too much about perfume, it was over 25 yrs ago now. A bonus was, that my skin never looked or felt so good on really inexpensive products. Take care💛
Congratulations Yve ! 🤍 When I was pregnant, I could not be around ANYTHING scented ! 🤣 I used only a certain brand of shampoo and soap… could not even stand the smell of my holy grail face powder… and I HATED with every fiber of my body, my husband’s perfumes at that time (from Mossimo) and Even until now, thinking about it makes me sick.. and it’s been 11 years 😆 BUT, I LOOOOOOVED the smell of sauteed Garlic and Onions…… and SARDINES ! 🤭
Wow, you're pregnant! No wonder you look more lovely than usual! Congratulations 🎉 😊 And thanks for this video. Very interesting to me and adds another facet of knowing you! Be well, Yve 🍋 ❤️ 🍋
Congratulations my dear! At my first baby, the first three months I couldn’t tolerate any odors. I had two children and breastfed for several years. I stopped wearing perfume at that time for several years. I fou d all the perfumes too strong and too heavy. I went more towards the Aqua Allegoria following my pregnancies. Have a nice week. Very good nice idea this video!
Congratulations! Yes it did change my sense of smell, I couldn’t tolerate any perfume. It actually took a few years after having my son to enjoy wearing perfume again.
Ahhhhh, how exciting (not the change of smell and all the “things” involved). Welcome to the world of citrus and woody fragrances! But more importantly: I am really happy for you! You are absolutely glowing from within!
Congartulations, Yve !!!!! I don't really remember if my pregnancy affected my sense of smell, I wasn't into this rabbit hole back then yet, but I definitely don't recall having any olfactory aversions or preferences. The only thing that was puttin me off was the smell of coffee. Stay safe and heathy, good luck during this amazing life adventure.
Congratulations on your pregnancy Yve! My smell changed a lot with both of my pregnancies too, and had been different since having both my kids. There was only one perfume I could wear during my first pregnancy that didn’t make me want to gag. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is smooth and you can return to more of your fragrances you love! 💜
Congratulations! I was wondering where you were. I just gave birth 4 months ago and I couldn’t stand raw meats and I didn’t like to wear heavy fragrances. I mostly wore Rose Magnetic. After giving birth my sense of smell came back but now I don’t wear perfume so much because of the baby. During pregnancy my skin was super dry( some eczema) so the less perfume the better. Anyways enjoy your pregnancy as much as you can
Congratulations Yve ! When I was pregnant I became a bloodhound ... + I had ALL DAY sickness for 4 MONTHS 😬. Just having someone overly perfumed 4 rows ahead in a movie theater was excruciating. So I totally get that you don't like strong and dense perfumes at the moment, and that you cannot review as many new fragrances as before. I don't remember what real life smells made me sick during my pregnancies (it's a long time ago!)... but I sometimes liked having my sense of smell enhanced : plenty of good things to enjoy the smell of even more :) ! Maybe you will learn to enjoy citrus fragrances on the long term thanks to your pregnancy 🙂? Nowadays I have a long term covid (caught in february) and my yesterday good sense of smell has become just average, fluctuating to less than average, getting saturated quickly... unfortunately😞... but I have good hopes of regaining my full ability in that matter, as the other symptoms are disappearing slowly but surely 🙂. Best wishes for the months to come, take care 💕
Congratulations Yve! I too couldn't stand the smell of buttered popcorn and meat raw or cooked. I had to lay off of fragrances too other that the fresh citrus ones. Eventually, after giving birth I could smell my more heavy fragrances again. All the best to you during this special time!!
Very interesting! The scent cravings are something I've never heard before. But it certainly sounds like larger molecules were the culprit. Ps, can't wait to see if it's a boy. 😊 Yes, that was a spiderman joke. 🕸😄
Congratulations!!! 🎉🎈 That first semester is mind blowing… the changes that happen with the sense of smell is acute. I craved hot and sour soup from a certain restaurant and my husband would drive 7miles to buy it for me, almost daily. I avoided fragrances PERIOD. Tam Dao is my most complimented fragrance. Go for the full bottle! Wow! Hope you have the rest of your pregnant time happy. If you like shrimp and lobster…eat a lot of it. Everyone told me it helps with the developing brain and all my babies are really smart. Much love to you!!! It’s really great news! Babies are the best things !!!! 🐣🐣🐣❤️❤️❤️
Congrats! Yves! When I was pregnant, I couldn't stand perfumes at all. It was my only no buy year success😂
😂😂😂 How funny! Thank you Wendy
Same here. 12 weeks into my pregnancy and lemon and ginger are pretty much what I wore for 3 months specifically Quercus and La Ombre Merveilles.

Thanks Isa! So interesting how our sense of smell changes with pregnancy and post-pregnancy!
Congratulations! Yes it did change my sense of smell, I couldn’t tolerate any perfume. It actually took a few years after having my son to enjoy wearing perfume again.
Thank you! Wow! I have some friends who haven't been able to bounce back from their smell aversions after pregnancy
Congratulations to you and your hubby!
Thank you friend!
Congratulations, Yve! Enjoyed hearing how your senses have altered - will be very curious how it shifts when baby arrives!
Thank you Ruby!
Congrats Yve!!!
Thank you D'Angelo!
Oh my gosh, congratulations!!! When I was pregnant, I had HG and struggled with smells as well. It was extremely difficult being anywhere near food 😬
Thank you! Oh no!!! I can't imagine how hard that must have been!

Thank you Iga! My mother also didn't seem to have any olfactory aversions/preferences, so she thought I was pretty odd when it happened to me 😂

Rose Magnetic is so lovely! My skin (mostly on my face) also got really dry and very sensitive!
@@yvespiderssmells9956 Me too! My regular face creams didn’t work anymore. The only cream that helped was Dermalogica Intensive moisture balance
