Hey guys! So today I'm going to be doing a whole foods haul! I love going grocery shopping! Whether I'm shopping at trader joes, whole foods, target, or wherever, I just love buying easy to make, healthy food groceries that I can snack on and make into healthful meals throughout the week! Nutrition is really important to me, so even though I don't follow a specific diet, I like to buy gluten free items, vegan and vegetarian items and tons of fresh, organic produce! I hope you enjoy today's Nikki's Nibbles episode and I will see you manana!

I have to agree with you, being my Mom was born in New Mexico...the hatch chile originates from New Mexico. Hatch, New Mexico has the best harvest that I get my annual stash from. The aroma of New Mexico Green Chile Stew is delish! I did not know Texas grew New Mexico Green Chile...but happy for anyone that can get there has on it because it is only 1 month out of the year. yup...distinct flavor and aroma. My freezer is filled with roasted NMGC for the year..till next harvest yum.

Little orange tomatoes, we call them Sungolds!
ps: How I get rid of flies in the house...
1. spray them with counter spray or windex, any cleaner in a spray bottle
I find that it's the only thing that can slow down a fly enough to get rid of them.
2. Then I just pick it up with a napkin and flush or toss.
I hope you do more like this. Cool to hear about products you might not immediately see at the store. 💜

Hatch chiles are grown in hatch New Mexico not Texas they are only grown in that town or providence just thought you'd like to know Nikki. Grew up in New Mexico so it's just a thing I feel obligated to correct 😛😛😝
While some green chili might be grown in Texas, it's primarily from New Mexico, specifically Hatch New Mexico. They grow all through the summer and harvest only one month of the year… They have a giant green chili festival that is pretty fun :-) I grew up right next to here and we eat green chili and literally everything :-) our favorites are definitely on burgers and turning the green chili into syrup to make green chili lemonade :-)

You can get all different kinds of "hint water" from other brands in pretty much any grocery store in Germany, so if you ever get the chance to come to Germany you should definitely try it out. My favourite kind is Lineé by Gerolsteiner.

hey Nikki, it would be amazing when you do these hauls if you could reduce the amount of bags you use for produce. like for example things that are already in bunches don't really need individual bags, like bananas, and cilantro/scallions (cause you're just gonna wash it anyway!) just some food for thought! you have a huge audience and could spread the awareness. ❤️

Ohm cherry tomatoes yes! We bought some at a farmers market and roasted them with thyme and they were so sweet! They tasted like orange jello (weird I know). So that's are favorite veggie side with dinner right now!

I love grocery hauls and learning about new healthy foods. Sorry if I already mentioned this Koyo makes delicious ramen noodles. I love their garlic pepper and miso veggie flavors. They only use simple recognizable ingredients. I think you can find them at Vons or Ralphs. I love Theo chocolate!

Those orange tomatoes are called sungolds and they're the BEST!
Kerrygold is butter made from grass-fed pastured cow's milk so it contains much higher amounts of vitamins than regular grain-fed CAFO butter, such as K2 which can only be found in animal foods like butter, egg yolks, and liver!
