The TSX HVAC controls are integrated into the factory head unit circuitry. If you remove the factory head unit completely, the HVAC controls will not work without some extensive custom wiring. That’s why Metras kit comes with a new HVAC control module.
Would that climate control wire work on a 2004 tsx because it's says it's for a 09 n up?

Hey I see it’s kinda 9 months late your radio code is in your glovebox on the side
You don’t need the code for aftermarket radios
The radio code is on a sticker on the side of the glove box lol look in the crack on the side when you open it, unless if it was removed

i ordered the metra dash kit today what is the best radio to get if i intend to add amps and subs in the future as well
multiple amps? I suggest kenwood or alpine. Single amp for subs? Any radio will do really.
So I can use this kit and install it where the pocket is if I have factory navi? Is pulling out the colored wires completely necessary? In the comment where you linked the kit used in the video they advertised it as plug and play without the need to do any wiring so I’m just a little confused. I want to keep the factory ac climate controls so I really want to avoid using the Metra kit and this doesn’t seem to be too horribly advanced
The kit is PNP you wont need to do any wiring. Yes you can do it if you have the factory nav.

My 2005 tsx its got the navi system for the climate control can i just throw in a regular dash ( not navi) and custome made a dash kit for a radio to fit on original spot of oem radio and use this harness is that possible? Thanks in advance

Man can you please figure out a way to control the factory clock without the factory radio installed, that would be amazing for the guys who have Android units!
U can't.. once u remove factory stereo ...it will never work
the clock is set via data by the GPS so it can be done but you would need the engineers to read that data. They do it in the Acura TL Tesla screen but we don't have anyone in house with the expertise who could setup a sniffer and read the packets and then write the code to setup the time.

yes we can make a harness for the JVC the dash kit you will need a pocket that we will also send you.
there any splicing or rewiring? I seen the video saying something about doing something with the wiring in the harnesses if so how difficult is it to connect all the stuff
