You did a good job taking the time to film everything. The trunk should have been closed though it would have had a little better result on all of them
I have those JBL 6x9 cheap and sounds good for the price. I have no desire to get better, that’s how good they sound. Works well with factory radio with the low 2 ohms.
Great video, love the comparison based on factory power, or full aftermarket power, and talk about active cross-overs via that power amps. Great mounting clues, I WAS SO LOST 20 years ago, I tried to replace my speakers, completely failed, with some huge magnet Infinity speakers I spent a ton of money on; they didn't fit with the existing grills, I could not figure out what to do; I ran them without the grills! I then lost the grills; now I know how to get them on there; and I have to order some used ones ;-) Sheesh, what a nightmare. We didn't have the wiring converters handy back then either, i made the mistake of doing a soldering job; it turned out so bad! Nor UA-cam installation videos... Your video fixes all my problems, thank you!

There are subs made for free-air/infinite baffle. Look for drivers with a QTS at or above .5 and kicker usually make a free air model as well as pioneer. To make the bass even more pronounced, try to cover any other holes in the rear deck.
I replaced all the stock speakers with new old stock, and used 300w Infinity REF-9632ix 6x9s for the rear deck. I have to say they are a nearly perfect stock replacement they sounded fantastic even with the stock amp but it just died on me lol. So I am doing the PNP upgrade you guys suggested. It will be here Monday ! Cant wait to hear how it sounds ! Do you guys have a video where you mount it back in the car? I'm curious how I should go about that. 🙌🙌🙌

Hello! My left rear speaker has no sound. I tested the speaker itself on the right rear speaker cables and it works. I have changed amp and radio as well. The issue has to be in the wiring right? So my question is: Does the wiring from rear deck speakers go straight to amp or rear doors? Also are there any connectors between since I have pink and blue for rear left cables in trunk, but can't find them from amplifire cables. Car is Honda Accord Euro R 2003
I have a 2012 impala LTZ with the Bose sound system.I want to get better sound and I have a few questions.I want to know if pioneer or kicker is better than Bose and I have speakers that are like your TSX but I got speakers instead of subs in the back like the your TSX does. What set up should I do that’s not ridiculously expensive. My speakers are 3 way.Bass, mid range, treble. Can you help me.Also I don’t want to have to cut wires and heat shrink them or get adapters because I don’t know what I’d be looking for
I’m willing to put subs in the back since my car comes with an amp being the Bose sound system.I dont know if I need a different amp though.Factory radio for now and factory amp currently
Can I take the 6x9s from my Ford Taurus and throw them in there? One of the 6x9s in the back of my 06 accord just started making popping sounds randomly.
Just replaced the stock with those JBLs but the rear deck started to rattle, especially at lower volumes because it gets easier to hear the rattle. Any ways to fix that?
have you got any suggestion for a rear decksub upgrade while still utilizing the stock radio (no extra amp) Or would it not be worth it? Just looking for a bit more oomph..

Thanks for the info! But 6x9 subs are extremely limited.
that kicker 6x9 seems to be doing the best as a stock sub replacement

Any update on the six channel 100 watt amplifier??? 43:25
Think the Alpine type S 8” component fits w/bracket without modification?
You guys are the best iwantfreestuff
Magnadyne might sound better still on aftermarket head unit?
What PNP Amp do you think will work best for the JBL full set? Or what set up do you think is the best? AMP and full set of speakers.
Probably just depends on the type of speakers you chose🤔
JBL and the MB Quart 4 channel for the best price and loudness.
JBL is matching to factory sub but factory sub is best in all it produce more lows

Is the harmony audio that Amazon pushes for the tsx any good?
they aren't bad speakers. We aren't sure how the 6x9 lines up the rear. But for the doors the spacers will make it simple.

JBLs even though they are full range they work well.
Does anyone have the link for the wiring harness?
What is the part number on the pioneer amp... you show it, but there is nothing more. Please help.
we don't carry it anymore . But you can find it here www.amazon.com/Pioneer-GM-D1004-4-Channel-Digital-Amplifier/dp/B00O8B7BXQ
Are the stock 6x9 on there tsx 2 or 4 ohm
Why didn't you get the 6/9 ts-d6902r Pioneer. Why those speakers?
I have pioneer speakers in my TSX, all blue cones and they kick. I wish YT didn't copyright because I'd upload some of my videos.
Could you show us how you mounted the JBL.
all screws partially screwed down then work each one at the time. The screws line up but need some work.
