Translucent Cane over Painted Wood

www.tinypandor... Wood beads are such a revelation. Not only are they uniform and light weight, you can paint them with any acrylic paint, then use liquid clay or any PVA (white) glue to attach polymer clay to them. This time I used a translucent cane (see link below) over several different colors of paint. The DeepShine finish really gives these beads a deep, glassy glow.

Wonderful idea!! I love this! So you bake the translucent for 15 minutes to keep it from darkening..I've tried everything else & always had it darken. Apparently I was over baking it!! 😳 I'm going to try these!! Thank you for more motivation!! ❤

These are such thin sheets it only takes 15 min. Lower your temp a little and it will also help. ❤️
