This is a actually a good video. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Great video
I wear alot of sweatpants and joggers so I love my Phlster Enigma/Tulster Oath setup. I would like to try the Hunter Constantine at some point but yeah the price is a major turn off.
The Phlster Enigma is one that I do want to try eventually, I just had other belts that fit the bill so I never ended up ordering one
I watch a lot of videos about handguns and gear being a retired LE officer, but I must say your 🎉videos are up there with the best I have scene Keep up the good work and you will get many more subscribers
@@mikemarrs9946 thank you for the kind words.
Next month we get to test out two more high end pistols so I’m excited to do that
Actually Kore Essential was first to make a ratchet gun belt I know I have 3 in tactical web and 1 leather model for work and I've spoken to them about this. Kore also gives you a belt tip keeper.
actually shocked you have less than 1k subs. great video, thanks for the info. probably coulda saved myself some money had i seen this like a week ago. ended up getting the hunter C belt, been rocking a kore for about a year and can confirm i've lost several belt loops.
Thanks for watching and I appreciate the kind words.
Been trying to get some more videos shot but life can throw curve balls so I have about 4 videos in the pipeline here soon.
I say try the newer kore multicam belt. Go one in feb and its insanely adjustable and jsut stiff enuff but not too stiff and the tip keeper is inc.
Kore makes both leather and tactical and multicam belts and Kore comes with a tip keeper. Know your gear.
Kore sucks
I’ve used the tier 1 S belt which is pretty much identical to the HC belt with an extra loop. I had the black one and after one day I purchased the other color (tan). It’s by far the most comfortable belt I’ve ever worn, not even close and holds the gun tight. I’ve carried for over 15 years and have tried pretty much ever belt out there but this is by far worth the money from a comfort.
I tried the Hunter Constantine belt. It’s not sturdy enough if you carry more than a gun and +1 mag. I carry a TQ, two extra mags (as I live in a restricted state), a gun, a fixed blade, etc and it cannot sustain the weight at all. The non rigid parts are where the weight really puts a lot of pressure and just hurts. And the Groove live belt FORGET IT. That belt sucks. It stretches which means it puts ALLL the weight right at the back if you carry appendix with a sidecar and just destroys your back. The Carbon Tactics biothane belts for me along with the Blackbeard customs Ranger series are BY FAR the best gun belts I’ve used besides the Kore, Tenicor heavy, and Nexbelt appendix belts.
I HIGHLY also recommend the Covert belt by Mastermind Tactics if you want a “no belt loops” type belt that you can wear with basketball shorts. Unlike a belly band, it’s a regular belt that has this awesome material that grabs pants shorts etc and keeps it on the belt. The best thing about this belt is you can run a gun, a mag on strong side, a tq on gun side, etc and it does t hurt, doesn’t sag, and it’s as much real estate as a normal belt. I HIGHLY recommend this if you want “no belt loops”. Also if you run appendix, you NEED the Mastermind Tactics appendix pillow… trust me….thank me later 😂
Amazing feedback and I’m going to check out some of these. Thank you!
Most of the ones I reviewed work for me because I only carry a pistol. You definitely need a sturdier belt with the weight you’re carrying for sure.
Good reviews, appreciate the information.
Do one on the best edc leather belts, There are a lot of them.
@@mikemarrs9946 I’ll have to get some in before I can do more testing
SA best EDC of 2024? Some of those belts are range belts not EDC and some out of business. Honestly my 2 Kore belts are the best for edc than all those belts I see here and I have used a fair amount of gun belts over last 25 years or so. Kore is highly adjustable, interchangeable with dozens of buckles, leather, tactical, reinforced center for support, good for iwb or owb, quality is 2nd to none and its about $60. Name another belt here that does all that??
@@Lamarhare2420 thank you for taking the time to comment and leave feedback. I really do think Kore is a great value but I did not like the comfort part of it.
I felt the buckles weren’t designed great and it just didn’t work for me.
So I really do appreciate when a product works better for someone else leaving that feedback for other viewers to see.
None of this is sponsored and I want to give honest reviews/impressions of products, but sometimes they just don’t work for me but might be great for someone else.
No enigma?
The nextbelt comes with a loop so it doesnt have the issue of the kore belt. Should have tested the neomag belt system
I will have to check those out. Thanks for the heads up
Nexbelt second to none.....
Amen. Kore sucks.
RGB belts is out of business? and was not the first to do the ratchets? why review when its out of biz?
Mostly because there are plenty of other gun belts out there that do the exact same thing as RGB. Since that’s the only one I had in that style I used it to fill that spot for EDC belts.
Why is sturdiness important?
For the ability to draw the pistol from the holster without the belt/holster moving on you.
A sturdy holster also allows for a mod-wing or “claw” to push the grip into your belly better to help reduce “printing”.
But, some newer belt designs are able to achieve this without being as super stiff/sturdy as older designs.
