- In todays video we install a Downpipe on a Mk8 GTI allowing us to get sound clips of each of our exhaust setups. Full stock exhaust VS Downpipe back VS Full turbo back .

2022 MK 8 manual here. If you even think you want a manual. Then wait or travel. I am so glad I got the manual. Having it completes the connection between you and the car.
I’m running the same milltek downpipe but with neuspeed exhaust and it sounds good and not too loud at all.

Yea i have a XForce Catback non valved with a catted DP and its not loud at all. But it comes with a resonator you can remove and put in a straight pipe. Ones realy quiet but the other drones like crazy.
@@Biohazard_Mk8 good to know that’s my biggest concern about taking my car to stage 2/3 is how much sound difference there was
@octane_media yea check out xforce non valve, im stage 2. I have both resonators in and the dp. It's alittle louder than stock so you can tell your modded but I can still have my 4 year old in the car and it not bother him.

So the car has both the resonators and no catback? Cause with this downpipe it sounds so loud. I have a catback on mine and at low rpm it does drone a bit but at least now you can hear it :D
@@finalfantasy13100 the car with the Downpipe is not resonated it’s straight through besides the high flow cat in the new Downpipe.
Did you buy new rear diffusers? Is it from the same company?

Hey man, I need your opinion so there is no manuals located in my area and I live in Minnesota and I don’t know how long the wait will be. Should I just pull the trigger and just get the DSG?
yo i would recommend waiting, i have the DSG its not bad whats so ever i just would prefer a manual because they are gonna stop making them so the manual would maintain its value much more than DSG
@@lucas_ST3 ultimately it comes down to what you want , if you’re really wanting a manual I would suggest waiting or traveling. If you’re wanting to tune it as well in my opinion the manual is the better option as there still isn’t tunes yet for the DSG . But the DSG is still an awesome driving experience and it’s super quick shifting as to be expected!
What tune does this car have to have that many pops 😂
@@cjyayday6270 it was the 034 motorsports tune but with a high flow cat and a straight through exhaust system
If you have eqt, you dont need a downpipe for stage 2, just an intercooler
